This is with regards to this article posted about Star Citizen:

Once again jumping on the bashing train, by an author that has no idea how video games are developed. No one has made a game like Star Citizen before, to the level of detail that is going into it. Sure Elite Dangerous and No Man's Sky are out already but... anyone playing them still? Anyone talking about them still? No, not in any meaningful numbers. They rushed out a product to compete in the genre and they are dead already. A good game takes time. Not to mention they are developing a huge story based single player campaign in addition to a massive persistent multiplayer sandbox. The level of physics, math, and calculations that are going into the game and engine are far beyond anything that's ever been done in a video game. Ships are massive, detailed, and some are as big as entire arenas in CoD or Overwatch. Cloud Imperium is willing to delay and taking the clubbing from the general public to put out a good game, an actual game that will stand the test of time, that people will be playing for years and decades to come like EVE Online. Enjoy wallowing in your persistent state of disappointment with the huge amount of work people put into projects that don't come out when you want them to.
