They've used the excuse that things were getting out of hand in the comments in order to squash our 1st amendment rights. They censor just about everything with their algorithms. I have a list of over 50 words that are no longer allowed. This is Big Brother all over again including the Double Duck Speak. Soon they will be changing history to fall in with their agenda.
An error occurred while saving the comment Doc H commentedYahoo has always been on the left of journalism and I have always found it non professional. Journalist are to be un biased and allow the new to be what it is. When commenting, yes it is important to be civil but sometimes things get heated but in this format nothing can happen so babysitting comments is not Yahoo's job. People sometimes need to blow off steam and Yahoo is like a mother hen trying to keep things calm. The biggest problem with that is that they allow the more liberal commenters to say what they please while reigning in the conservatives. Their censorism is very unfair not to mention unnecessary. When you think about it it's none of their business what people say to each other in order to make a point. They now have people commenting as if they all graduated from Harvard all rethinking the same thoughts but in a different manner. You can call a pig a rabbit but it will always be a pig.
An error occurred while saving the comment Doc H commentedYahoo leans too far towards the left. All journalist, in America anyway, are to be objective when presenting the news. This is not the case with Yahoo which presents only the left side of the political picture. Yahoo should report all sides and not favor, "a one sided paper", as it has done now, for many years.

Yes I noticed that Yahoo leans towards the left and I have also noticed this in some TV journalist though they do their best to hide but I'm an old poker player and I can see through them. What gets me the most is that their left sided direction is more than flagrant in the comment section. I have noticed that even with good English without any type of foul or distasteful language if you say something negative about a Democrat you get your comment rejected. This has gone as far as rejection negative comments on articles about dictators, entertainment and even cultural. articles. I guess we put up with it because there are no other outlets for us to express ourselves but if it were the reverse they would be yelling unfair all over the place.
