  2. Remove the Independent as a news source

The recent highlight of this post: "By going after James Comey, Todd Blanche shows he is every bit the Trump puppet that Pam Bondi was" is an opinion piece that is masquerading as news.

It is clear that Yahoo has a bias, one that leans left according to bias meters. This platform has supported violence against conservatives by highlighting left wing propaganda like this post. This has to stop if Yahoo wants to be taken seriously as news outlet.

  3. Stop being a part of trump media

It is very noticable that you allow the most VILE comments from maga on news stories, but you delete anyone who is clearly BLUE. The magas threaten, harass, and write disgusting posts and you allow it. It's all you see in Yahoo comments. When a BLUE responds, you delete their post. Totally biased- you are not NEWS, you are a shill for admin 47. We are cancelling our Yahoo accounts, which our offices have had since you started, but no more. Our office is now not allowed to use Yahoo, we will be going with a company that has integrity.…

  7. change your new page since it is mostly about President and government actios

Go back to your previous opening page style. I have found that Google has a more blanced reporting of the news.

  8. Provide actual news stories -

Might as well call this site "Buzz Feed Promotions" or "The Daily Beast Central" - these are not news organizations or even news articles on your "News" site. You can do better .... but I don't expect much to change.

  9. Stop Censoring our Comments

You refuse to post people's opinions even when they're not offensive or using bad language. You should be sued for censoring our first amendment rights. Don't post the option to comment if you only accept what you agree with

  10. LET PEOPLE ACTUALLY COMMENT WHEN THEY TRY TO AS ADVERTISED

I was about to comment on a story about the exodus from California...I believe my first comment after 20 years of being a yahoo account member, as I was typing my first sentence...apparently I was stopped as commenting "HAD ENDED" after 335 comments. I have seen comments with tents of thousands of comments before. WHY WAS I STOPPED FROM COMMENTING? ACTUALLY YAHOO HAS GOTTEN SO BAD, SO UNUSEABLE I WILL BE LEAVING SOON! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! MAYBE YOU SHOULD ACTUALLY ALLOW PEOPLE TO COMMENT WHEN YOU ADVERTISE THAT THEY CAN,,,WHAT A NOVEL IDEA!

  11. Please add a feature to suppress selected news sources form my news feed.

I consider the Daily Beast to be very offensive and would like to be able to have it deleted from the news articles I see.

  12. Dark Mode for Yahoo Home Page please

I see where I can enable dark mode for Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Finance, and Yahoo Fantasy.
I found a post that talked about a settings icon on the Yahoo home page, and either that article was wrong, or the settings icon is not easily discovered at all - nor does the Yahoo Help indicate that there is such an option.
I'm heavily considering using another home page than Yahoo, since it's the only one that I cannot get working in a Dark Mode and it's glaring white pages strain my eyes.

  13. Add a feature to allow users to prevent articles from specific sources from being included in their news page.

There are some news sources I consider offensive or that resemble advertisements that I would prefer to suppress from what I see.

  15. News Sources

The AP and Daily Beast seem to be the majority of the 'news' you promote these days. AP I can understand and appreciate their insight. The Daily Beast tho? That's like using Info Wars or TPUSA as a news source ...and it's not just an occasional link. Fully half of the 'news' I just scrolled down was from the Daily Beast, all with offensively partisan headlines that make non-progressives uncomfortable.

Just saying, that's not news. Putting it out there like it is news just confirms the assumption of bias at Yahoo!. Perhaps your interns need to expand their bubble. Maybe…

  16. Content category selection.

Some of your categories I would like the ability to filter out, such as Style/Lifestyle articles, which I find to be worthless to me. They are a waste of space and time. I come here for news, not for celebrity or fashion fluff.

  17. Please include location of news items

All stories should include the location (state or country). Putting a random city name is inadequate because there are many cities in the country that have the same name. No one memorizes tv station letters in this day of cable and satellite, or the newspaper names when so few read newspapers, so that information in a story or headline is no help. Where is the news happening? In my region? In my country? Does it affect me?

  18. Allow users to customize their news feed

I'm tired of having to navigate through untrusty "news" websites on my feed to get to ones that are actually legit. The fact that one can't customize what shows up on my home page is laughable. I loved my old Yahoo homepage ("MyPage"), and have hated Currently since you forced the switch. Enough is enough, I'm switching my homepage to Google News as of today and will only return to Currently to access my Yahoo mail tab.

  19. Have a global setting for Comment notifications.

Having to set Comment notification preferences on EVERY SINGLE INDIVIDUAL COMMENT is absolutely ridiculous!
Why doesn't Yahoo have a global (account wide) notification setting for this?
(Not that I expect Yahoo to actually pay attention to this comment and change anything - they never do.)

  20. Stop blocking comments from ordinary readers!

My comments on Yahoo News have been disengaged, for no apparent reasons. Furthermore despite repeated attempts to correct this, I've had no positive response from Yahoo.
A company this size you can and should do better.
