Content category selection.
Some of your categories I would like the ability to filter out, such as Style/Lifestyle articles, which I find to be worthless to me. They are a waste of space and time. I come here for news, not for celebrity or fashion fluff.

Actually stopping the ad(s) objected to ...
Hello, ur all doing a good job and i like Yahoo ... but a type of ad i object too (in this instance dating ads) and note that to Yahoo every time i see one seemingly does noting but generate even MORE dating ads ... ten so far today interspersed in the news ... it is the only ad i don't want to see, but even tho Yahoo gives me the power to stop seeing them, i just get more of them ... gets irritating after a few years, gotta tell ya

Give us more content control
I couldn't give two sh!ts about Taylor Swift. If I never see her face again, it'll be too soon. Give me the choice to ignore her existence. I don't care about crypto either. Never gonna read an article about it. Sports? Nope. And less Buzzfeed, please. That's not news. Reposting tweets isn't news.

Permit users to restrict tabloid sources from the news feed
I'm seeing junk from many tabloid sources (The Daily Beast, The Cool Down, HuffPost, New Republic, Buzzfeed, The Hill, etc.) which aren't worth the electricity to show. Allow users to opt out of those annoyances so they can go directly to the more reputable sources.

Please provide a way to filter by news source or, ideally, by journalist.
I like getting unbiased news as much as possible. So I would like to be able to filter out content from a journalist or publisher if I find that journalist or publisher consistently produces biased content.

Put Dates on Articles
Will help make it easier to find the latest article published on a given subject. Too often I want to follow a particular story line but then, after a few days, I wind up clicking on a given article that I have already read.

Fix you **** comments section
You need to fix your **** comment section. for three days now i have been unable to comment because even though i am already logged in it keeps telling me to login. i click the login button and the page refreshes and still the comments section says i am not logged in. I know you like the shadow ban and mess with independents and republicans that don't participate in your group think but come on.

Cover ALL the news not just selected items
I see nothing on your main pages about the racial beatdown in Cincinnati- especially since one of the Cincy councilwomen said they had it coming. This is the problem with sites like yours- you only cover what is good for your side or bad for the other side instead of covering ALL the news objectively and letting the consumer decide how it impacts them.

Allow us to remove liberal outlets. They are not news, and we should be able to remove some of them
Please allow us to see who we want instead of all these media outlets we don't trust. Seriously, I see more Huffington Post, Daily Beast, Buzzfeed, The Wrap, etc. I want to see news outlets. Reuters, Fox News, NBC, CBS etc. I am tired of my page inundated with far-left leaning craziness. Yahoo please stop subjecting us to your idea of the news and allow us a place where we can have some of the far-left stuff removed.

Way too one side of the political news. Total far left like MSNBC
Be a real news information center for news. Not just anti Trump. If I didn't have my yahoo email I would never have you as my home page. I have so many friends that feels the same way.

Make OpenWeb be more definitive about why they reject comments
OpenWeb is the company you have chosen to "moderate" the comment section. There are times when I will write something that is neither offensive nor derogatory and it will be rejected. Problem is I will not know why it was rejected. Or it will require someone to "approve" or not the comment. I would like you to require OpenWeb to underline any words that they consider too risque for the average reader or specifically say why a comment was rejected. Many times I have no idea why something is rejected. I think commentary to stories adds something but OpenWeb is…

Why can I just see "View Comments" but I am not permitted to add to comments?

Make source links more available
News comes from so many non-Yahoo sources. It's frustrating to read an article without going straight to the original source. I find myself having to search the words in the headline to get to a story on (for example) Business Insider, Buzzfeed, or wherever the story originated. I often just skip looking through Yahoo News because of this.

Remove unreliable information/ misinformation from news feed
In the news section. It would be nice if we could filter out news from unreliable sources. I mean Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, etc. The are not reliable news outlets, and yet my news feed is full of them. Some are misinformation, but many are just blatant lies, and frankly I am sick of seeing them. Please inform me as to how I can remove these from my news feed.

Include more background, feedback and Moderate and Conservative POV's in your articles and OP Eds
Good afternoon. I have been a Yahoo reader and email holder for over 20 years. Even an avid reader. I am a bit of a News junkie; I really enjoy reading your articles and opinion pieces about Current Events, people in the News, etc., as well as the Historical pieces - although less the Historical ones. Your Writers and Editors have a great way, that I really like, of writing and editing that conveys the pertinent data with enough background and context to help your readers get to the heart of the story and understand the issues.

Informing the public about true hardships surviving in todays economy.
As an Uber driver, I would like the public to know exactly how bad Uber, "screws" their drivers in the state of Florida. There are so many "unfair" commissions, trips, & rules & regulations, that hamper drivers' income, & operating costs that the public needs to be aware of. I am sure Florida is NOT the only state that get's treated unfairly & "screwed" by uber.

Bring back the old Health category.
Bring back the old Health category. The new one is either thinly veiled advertising or just blatant advertising. There used to be timely, informative and valuable health information but now it just a gang of carnival barkers with no news.
