Occasionally some contact’s e-mails go into cyberspace 100% of the time, even though the address is correct. If she sends me an e-mail first I can reply & she receives it. If I incited the email she never receives it. I have to call her on the phone. She has checked & it’s not in her spam or any other file.

“Invalid phone number”: The old Yahoo address book used to allow me to write who’s phone
number in the household it belonged to – not anymore. Also please allow ( ) around the area code & dashes between prefix & last 4 digits of the phone number instead of running all the numbers together. An error occurred while saving the comment Veletia Manning commented
I changed the law firm where a contact works & the SAVE button won’t save the new information. It keeps popping up with the old information.

The SAVE button is highlighted, but it won’t let me save the corrected information. It reverts back to the old information.

After removing an old e-mail address from my address book & putting in the new one, when composing a new e-mail, using the auto fill feature, the incorrect old e-mail address still pops up & the corrected new one doesn’t. This happens even after I delete the old address.

The icons are not intuitive. If you hit the wrong one you’ve lost everything you were trying to do & have to start over. That’s a good 30 – 40 minutes of wasted time.

Auto fill on an e-mail is very helpful, BUT when it fills in an old incorrect address instead of the new corrected address that’s in your address book it’s not helpful. I’ve sent Yahoo Help a screen shot showing where this is happening. Make what’s in your address book the default for auto fill.
I’ve been using Yahoo for my e-mail for years now & it used to be quite simple, but every time you update it, or change its platform / format (whatever the Geek term is) it get more complicated & harder to use, less efficient & takes more time. Please: Remember the “KISS” method. (Keep it simple Stupid)

Your address book frequently “eats names” especially last names. The person’s first name is left (Jane) but her last name (Doe) has disappeared numerous times. Even after rebooting the computer names still disappear.
John Doe is missing. I just happened to think, I’ll bet Yahoo’s address book ate his last name again & it’s under the “J’s” for John, instead of D’s for Doe. Just checked – that’s exactly what happened & only John is there. His last name is missing AGAIN! Then I sent Yahoo help an email with a screen shot showing it wouldn’t let me edit this contact. Only delete was highlighted. Time: 5:13PM 12-16-2020 MT

Address book entries: Listing the first 4 most frequently used contacts first - followed by all others is very confusing & time consuming when trying to find a person quickly. Hiding names under (21) more is also a nuisance and slows down the process of looking for a contact by leaps & bounds. Again please use the KISS method. "Keep it Simple Stupid". Stop burying things!

“Sort” with a down arrow: “Newest on top”, “Oldest on top” etc. Suggestion: when a user, such as myself, makes MY CHOICE make my choice permeate instead of going back to yahoo’s default every time. Same thing in your address book: If I, the user, choose to have my contacts listed by last name first, please let that stand instead of reverting back to Yahoo’s default constantly of first names first.

The “e-mail history” is totally useless. If some people want it - make it optional. I’d rather have the person’s “Details” name, address, phone number & MY notes about them. Info such as are they part of my HOA, or my car club, or do I know them thru dog training. Are they included in 1 of my “Groups” I send batch e-mails to? Click on “Details” & all I get is a history of how often we’ve exchanged e-mails within a time period. What a waste!!
