There are several complaints about this, some saying that they have been 'reviewed', but there is no indication what is being done about this. This one says 'gathering feedback', but how about some feedback back so that we know what Yahoo plans to do about it?!

I hate spam folders, especially ones that delete content on a regular basis without my control. We're entitled to all of our mail, even spam, and to use our own brains to interpret what's relevant to us and what isn't. Yahoo gets it wrong all too often, and even throws Yahoo Groups posts in the spam folder! Worse than that, sometimes emails that were in my inbox, that I've read already, are suddenly moved to the spam folder.

Yes, we need to the number indicator back on the spam folder, so that important emails don't get deleted by Yahoo!

In the most recent 'update' some of the scrolling back up to the top of my inbox when I'm busy looking through my emails was finally fixed, but now there's a new kind of ****: I click to scroll down just a little bit, and it just keeps scrolling on its own.

Not just in the folder panel. It's scrolling on its own in the inbox now too! One click to scroll down a bit, and it just keeps going! In addition to all the accessibility issues I've complained about before, this makes Yahoo Mail increasingly unusable. My new year's resolution, move to a different email provider and leave this Yahoo mess behind without ever looking back.

Since the 'New' Yahoo Mail was forced on us, there no longer is any notification when there is something new in the spam folder. We are now forced to check spam periodically ourselves, instead of doing so after seeing a count of how many messages are in it.

This has resulted in my wasting lots of time checking my spam folder for no good reason, as well as my missing legitimate messages, that never should have been thrown in the spam folder to begin with, because I didn't check it on my own soon enough.

Aside from returning the spam notifications, how about not throwing mail from Yahoo Groups into the spam folder, that you should assume is not spam because it comes from your own system? And how about not throwing messages in that were originally in my inbox, but days later Yahoo decides to move it to spam?

A lot of people have complained about this, and all I see here is that Yahoo is "Gathering Feedback", while many other complaints have been "Reviewed", but apparently nothing is being done about it.

Yahoo techies are clearly incompetent. This same problem happened with the last unwanted "Upgrade" (to "Neo"), which was also a disaster, and it took forever to get fixed. This is beyond fixing what ain't broke. It's breaking what was finally fixed the last time you fixed what wasn't broke.

How difficult is it to understand that requiring us to scroll down to the bottom of an email in order to access the sideways scroll bar makes Yahoo Mail UNUSABLE?! Because of Yahoo's insistence to put ads next to the inbox, and to make the email window narrower, many emails that would normally fit into the email window now require sideways scrolling to read them at all.

Stop gathering feedback and reviewing, and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Better yet, just let us go back to the last mostly functioning version. This is completely unworkable!

Same problem in all of my many Yahoo Groups. Messages and digests are delayed for days, making it difficult to communicate time sensitive information, and have chronological discussions in real time. This has been going on for weeks. It's the same problem we have every single time that Yahoo has made changes to Yahoo Mail (as it's doing again now). All other services apparently get broken in the process. I couldn't even post to the 'Community Help Forum' today, because I got caught in a sign in loop, even though I was already signed into Yahoo, and it would not allow me to sign in, or post to the forum.

Used to be we could contact a real person (or at least a robot who would eventually get us to a real person). Now we're told we can only get help from the 'community', who have no control over technical issues. When I attempted to reply to a post by someone with the same problem many of us are having, in the hopes that maybe Yahoo/Verizon is monitoring the site, I got caught in a loop where I was asked to sign in (even though I was already signed in to Yahoo), but was never able to. Meanwhile Yahoo Groups are once again falling apart, with messages and digests delayed for days, and it's been going on for weeks with no apparent efforts to fix it. Yahoo/Verizon should be ashamed of the level of dysfunction in the services it provides. No wonder so many people are giving up on Yahoo and Verizon, and moving elsewhere!

    Same problem here.

Messages to all my Yahoo Groups are bouncing with the message "No MX or A records for yahoogroups.com"?

I tried to post online from the group's archives, and so far that message hasn't been posted either.

And no way to contact Yahoo about technical problems. Obviously something is broken, but will Yahoo figure it out any time soon and fix it?

This is shameful. This problem is over a year old, and nothing has been done about it. Today one of my messages in the Groups archives, which most members use, was 'truncated by Yahoo, making group archives totally unusable! I've posted a longer message in the past that was not shortened, so why was this one?

There are a lot of people who wanted to read my ENTIRE message, and forward the link to others so that they could read it too, and we are now prevented from sharing it.

As I've said before in this very thread, this constitutes Yahoo not delivering our messages. You are advertising Yahoo Groups as a place where people can share and discuss, but you are actively interfering with our doing so!

When I tried to report the problem, the Help feature gives no option to contact anyone, and the feedback window under the help articles is set too big for my computer screen, so that I can't see what I'm typing, and worse, can't click on Send!

This tendency to truncate long emails is totally rude. Why would Yahoo shorten my emails? What makes you think that I only want part of my mail? If I don't want to read an entire email, I can stop reading it all on my own. And when I finally get to the bottom of the email and click to show the entire mail, Yahoo automatically reloads the email at the top, and I have to scroll back down to where I was forced to stop reading. This is unacceptable. Yahoo basically is not delivering all of our mail to us by shortening some of it.

I agree. I initially thought it was a good move to make the subject line bolder, to distinguish them from the obnoxious advertising that Yahoo now inserts into the message list, as if the ad is also a message. But it quickly became clear that with the bolder subject line there is now less information about what any message actually is about. I now get subject lines that have only 5 letters and then it trails off into dot dot dot. Of course the obnoxious ads have subject lines that are fully visible. Nothing truncated there. It's become painfully obvious that Yahoo's priorities are not about service for users, but service for advertisers.

Yahoo has been reviewing ways to improve the security of our member accounts, eliminate abuse and reduce the time needed to recover a password. Mobile is a secure way to solve all 3 of these issues.

We will never use mobile numbers for anything other than verification purposes and share this personal data with other companies.

We’re currently testing our registration page and will provide updates.

And not only is it discriminatory against poor people who can't afford mobile phones, but also against those who cannot use wireless technology because they are disabled by electrosensitivity.

Yahoo shouldn't need my phone number. Or what, you're going to start annoying me with advertising on my phone next....?
