your account is likely dead now. there is a time limit for not logging in until they decide the account is abandoned. wrong forum for this anyway, you want the HELP forum, which will be no help. you'll probably just have to make a new account, and anything you saved in the old one is gone.

ads are how yahoo keeps the email service free. you knew that when you signed up, and no, they will not change it. get a free adblock program already, you should have had one by now anyway.

if you don't have an adblock program, go get one, simple as that. there's a couple good free ones that will block the ads and let you specify 'elements' to block like the stupid day/week separator.

why don't you stop spamming with this question? it's not going to be answered or changed by yahoo/verizon, so get over it or go to another email service. your incessant posting is annoying and just getting you flagged.

what are you talking about? yahoo mail is a WEB-BASED email program, so you have to use a browser to get to the WEB to get to the email. why not just use a real email program IN your computer?

what does this have to do with yahoo MAIL? I've never had bookmarks in yahoo mail, and why would you ever store passwords in it? unless you just saved a text copy of your bookmarks and passwords as a regular email file? that's asking for trouble. so no idea what you're talking about, but your BROWSER has a bookmark file you can print out, but it sure shouldn't print out the passwords too.

It's still doable, but yahoo Help section doesn't explain how to any more. but does anyone on here google for answers? if you did, you'd find it. this is more of a Help forum question too.
click on the Settings gear, click 'more', then go to 'writing mail'. If your Signature is set to 'on', all you have to do is paste the image you want into that box (not the url TO the image, just copy the image and paste it). Make sure it's already sized to how big/small you want it to appear. since there's no Save button, just go 'back to inbox.' then send yourself a test message to make sure the image 'took.' I just tried it and it worked, and I logged out and back in and image was still there in the 'edit sig' box. But why does anyone use yahoo mail for 'real' business these days? if your logo or card is so important, use a real email program that you have total control over. no reason not to. Thunderbird works fine for me.

TOO LATE. I'm surprised you haven't been forced to the new version yet, almost everyone has months ago. THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU, the new version is here to stay until the next one, then the same people will crab about that and want this new version back. The new version is not that different and you'll get used to it, just like the previous 19 versions.

realize this: there is NO going back to the previous version, so stop asking. use a real stand alone email program or your ISP's webmail, they all have them. I just don't get why so many people are using yahoo for a primary account after all the years of bad service and 'upgrades' that are worse almost every time.

come on people, you're not getting the old yahoo back, it's way past that. move on to a real email program or another service. And I've had no problem with sending attachments, so not sure why you are.

learn how to use the settings features. click the gear icon for settings, go to 'more settings', go to 'Viewing email' and there's a list of preferences, and at the bottom (you may have to scroll the list) you have the Show Images in Messages choices, so choose 'Ask before showing external images.'

for pic attachments at least, just hover on the pic and it will say 'preview' and clicking on it will open it in the right side panel. I think it will do the same for pdf files etc, not sure.

just hover over the folder and it will show you how many spam emails are in there, but it won't tell you UNREAD ones, it's up to you to do 1 click and check them out and delete the **** you don't want, and move stuff you do want to the appropriate folder.

what world are you living in? Classic mail was dropped months ago and there's no coming back, that's how yahoo has done it for years with 'upgrades'. so leave an use a real email program .

to edit a contact (you need to be more specific about what you mean by edit) you click on the Contacts icon, then click/check on a contact, then tabs will open on the top and one will say 'edit details', so click that and edit what you want. simple, and pretty much the way it has been.

are all you people new? YAHOO NEVER REVERTS BACK, THEY NEVER WILL, SO GIVE UP WITH THESE CONSTANT POSTS ALREADY. Yahoo never listens, so why keep beating your head against the wall? move one, use another service.

the real question is, when will YOU people get that yahoo isn't going to revert to the previous version? THEY NEVER HAVE in all the updates they've done, so stop asking already. move to another company, there's plenty to choose from.

there is NO going back to Classic mail now, the deadline has passed and we all got updated to the new email whether we wanted it or not. SAME AS YAHOO HAS DONE THE LAST SEVERAL UPDATES. There are choices at the bottom for font size and style, as always, so learn how to use them. go to Settings and set the defaults for writing too.
