Well. Add to the problem that again, the email I sent went into space, and was not in the Sent folder.. and I recomposed it, and Sent it again - into space - I'm not being rude - where else would it be? - add the problem that this is the third time I in a row I am submitting this comment, but it, too, is going nowhere - THIS time, I will at least copy it. Very odd. (Could the email into space be due to that addressee an AOL address?)

It just happened again. I sent email to a known address; checked the Sent file, and there was nothing. I recomposed the email, sent it again, and - nothing. Space. Could this be due to the recipient having an AOL address?

It is happening again tonight. Sent email to known email address. Checked Sent folder - nothing. I recomposed the email, sent it again - nothing. Gone. Vanished. ???

I fail to understand why anyone thinks that making demands and slinging insults at the providers of a free service, will help matters. Would YOU attempt to respond constructively to a comment such as yours? No. You wouldn't.

I'm not about to trash Yahoo! email at all. I have had it since its birth. BUT - and I receive very few emails - there is a sudden change - as you say, you open the new email, but it STILL says you have one new email and it does not go away until you go back to the inbox. There is no reason why this should drive me nuts, but it does, and I would like it to stop. (I would also appreciate it if "they" would stop assuming that everyone owns a mobile device. I do not).

I have just started having this problem, a few weeks ago. Basic email. Really, everyone should have a copy of all contact addresses - I'm saying that to myself. I had sent feedback that it was problematic that the software was adding in names I did not want - it really was - causing some rather touchy political problems. But what are the chances that feedback had anything to do with the current problem - with no contact name fill-in. I appreciate having Yahoo email, even though Classic would be wonderful again.

Did you realize, after posting this comment, that it is funny. Lingerie.. surfing...swim suits... well, it made ME laugh. Thanks.

Never mind. Both emails have suddenly appeared in the Sent folder. Interesting.
