An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymousornot commentedI'm not about to trash Yahoo! email at all. I have had it since its birth. BUT - and I receive very few emails - there is a sudden change - as you say, you open the new email, but it STILL says you have one new email and it does not go away until you go back to the inbox. There is no reason why this should drive me nuts, but it does, and I would like it to stop. (I would also appreciate it if "they" would stop assuming that everyone owns a mobile device. I do not).

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymousornot commentedI have just started having this problem, a few weeks ago. Basic email. Really, everyone should have a copy of all contact addresses - I'm saying that to myself. I had sent feedback that it was problematic that the software was adding in names I did not want - it really was - causing some rather touchy political problems. But what are the chances that feedback had anything to do with the current problem - with no contact name fill-in. I appreciate having Yahoo email, even though Classic would be wonderful again.

I fail to understand why anyone thinks that making demands and slinging insults at the providers of a free service, will help matters. Would YOU attempt to respond constructively to a comment such as yours? No. You wouldn't.
