Hi Trish,
Comments should be available for every article. If you’re not seeing the comments section at the bottom, I’d recommend some browser troubleshooting.

Yahoo writers, such as Sid Lipsey, discourage US travelers from wanting to stimulate the tourist economy in other countries with his Anti-American article 'The Most (Accidentally) Offensive Things American Travelers Do While Traveling'.
Sid's message is very clear — those mentioned countries do not want the money of US travelers & disdain them for their multi-cultural differences (the USA is a big country full of diversity). How could the traveler (from anywhere for that matter) possibly know all of the customs, colloquialisms, slangs, blue finger messages, etc. of another country without living there as a permanent resident?
In countries that depend upon tourism for a large percentage of their revenue, I am 100% sure that merchants, restauranteurs, etc. will gladly take any traveler's money & smile. That is just good business practice.
A better way of doing that article is by offering links that travelers can refer to, so that they will learn more about the countries they are about to visit. Make the visit to Yahoo's Travel site a pleasant one, rather than being told how awful certain countries are & the people who visit them.
