    There is a big issue with IR position and how players qualify and don't qualify for it. Now, I know that this is something that is not necessarily the format's fault because in the end it comes down to how the NFL teams are categorizing players for their week to week status.

    For example, Rob Gronkowski. As you can clearly see from the attached picture the Buccaneers themselves say that Gronk will be out multiple weeks, but yet at the beginning of each week he will be labeled as "doubtful." This will make him to lose his IR designation and force me to move him out the IR dropping a player that I would prefer not to.

    I know that this is not a problem unique to myself as I have had other managers in my league complain to me about the same issue. I am the commissioner of my league so I looked in the commish tools section but there was not any setting that I thought would fix this. I attempted to go under the edit lineup section but even in that I cannot move someone to IR.

    One possible solution that another manager in my league had was that the players in the IR position can stay there until they register a practice. For example Gronk has not registered a practice this week so he would be able to stay, but Christian McCaffrey did register a practice on 9/6 so he should be forced to come off the IR.
