    The fact that emails that have been read (or at least opened) now have a gray background in the Inbox makes them seem as if they are totally taken care of and/or no longer important. That is usually not true (otherwise they would be deleted). Another way (even the former way) of differentiating read/opened emails from unread/unopened emails would be better. Please don't gray out emails that have been read/opened.
