For an email service, this would appear to be a clearly obvious and logical thing to do ... I looked for a way to reorganize the menu bar and couldn't find one ... The current implementation is an incredible illustration of bad decision making ...
The new version has a HORRIBLE appearance. It seems that no one at Yahoo did Human Factors or useability studies. I guess Yahoo is motivated to try to emulate Gmail ... If people wanted Gmail, they would have been using Gmail. Yahoo's interface and presentation were part of it's appeal.
