This has to be a joke???? I just finally got a reply back from yahoo customer care. I will copy & paste it here: "Yahoo Customer Care advises you that switching to the new Yahoo Mail version is not possible, but encourages you to utilize the new features and provide feedback via the feedback forum." Umm what??? I wish switching to the new version wasn't possible LOL. Do they NOT proof read what they type??? This has to be A.I. or something. Oh well whatever...I no longer use this as my primary e-mail anymore. Now its just my spam and junk e-mail. So long yahoo....you had your chance.

Well I've transferred all my contacts & imported all data to other accounts. I will NO LONGER be using yahoo for anything other then a "spam" account. Eventually I will just delete this account and forget yahoo ever existed. Very disappointed. This was one of my very first e-mail accounts since the days of dial-up. Many many years....and your company wants to end it like this????

I would also like to add that the classic version HAS NOT BEEN DISCONTINUED!!!!
My friend still has it; because he "Opted out" So they are letting some people keep there classic version & forcing other people to switch without the option to switch back???? Very sneaky Yahoo. STOP LYING TO PEOPLE about the old version is discontinued when it is still available!!!!!!Adam Duke supported this idea ·

You guys better start listening to the people. If you don't give the people what they want; we will find what we want some where else. I already set up a new e-mail account else where and I will delete and never use yahoo again. I will give you some time to fix this. But I will move soon if this it not resolved.
It's the lying and manipulation that upsets me the most. You keep saying that the old version has been discontinued...THAT IS A LIE!!!! I just checked with my friend who "Opted out" before the big switch over and his e-mail is the same old version style. So you still have it on your system and using it. This is so simple & easy to resolve. Let us 5,000+ customers have a second chance to "Opt out". THAT'S IT....Everybody is happy. Or are you gonna lie and remove his too later and say we don't do classic e-mail even after you promised him you won't when he "OPTED OUT"?????
