Yahoo Fantasy should allow a player who was legitimately placed in an IR slot while designated Out to remain there if his status subsequently changes to Doubtful.

Currently, when a player changes from Out to Doubtful, the roster immediately becomes invalid and the manager cannot make waiver claims or other roster moves until the player is removed from IR. This can force a manager to drop another player even though the injured player remains very unlikely to play and may simply be designated Out again later in the week.

I'm not suggesting that Doubtful players should be eligible to be newly placed into IR. Rather, if a player was already legally placed there while Out, he should be allowed to remain there until he is officially cleared/active. At that point, Yahoo could require the manager to activate the player and make any necessary roster cuts before completing additional transactions.

This would prevent weekly injury-designation changes from unnecessarily locking rosters while still preventing managers from using IR to stash healthy players.
