    the Scenario:

    1 you receive an e-mail from an email address not already stored in your "contacts" list;
    2 Yahoo thereby auto-generates the "CARD" referred to in this comment;
    3 you then click on the link to create a new contact in your address book from this "CARD";
    4 the Contact record which Yahoo then creates for you is NOT editable and you cannot add any further fields (like phone number, address etc.) and as far as I can gather you also are unable to amend the existing "Nickname" field, in order to add any more text etc. into that field either.

    Hence I do wholeheartedly agree with AMY that this feature needs either removing, or improving substantially to make it properly useable...!
