Hi Rob, you can follow these steps to delete multiple messages at a time:
1) Select one message by tapping the checkbox
2) In the top left corner of the screen, you'll see a checkbox. Tap this to select multiple messages.
3) In the bottom toolbar, you can delete all selected messages at once.

Hi Robert, thanks for reporting this issue. What do you see when you tap on the PDF or XML files in your message? Do you remember 1) the size of the files you were trying to download 2) if you were able to open these files on any other Yahoo Mail products like desktop or the apps?
