I just posted this review on the apple iOs app store for the Yahoo mail app. Based on my review of other reviews, there are many others with similar reviews and problems with the new UI redesign that makes the app entirely inefficient, difficult, and time consuming to navigate. Please give the option to revert to the previous excellent easily navigable version of the app. The review I posted as follows:
I have been using and paying for The Yahoo Mail+ app for many years. I preferred it since user interface (UI) WAS very intuitive, well designed, easily navigable, and efficient with a minimal number of clicks required to navigate to separate inboxes and folders UNTIL Yahoo recently forced the major redesign of the user interface that makes the app entirely far more time consuming and frustrating to navigate.

The previous UI version permitted quick one click navigation to any function such as choose an inbox or folder, it also made it simple to “select all” emails in a given folder, all of that time efficient functionality has now been replaced with a user interface that requires:

a swipe + scrolling + clicking on the “more” option + more scrolling to get to most folders and then going through all of that again to navigate to a different folder.

The previous efficient UI version was quick and efficient: simply scroll and click on a chosen folder or function.

This new UI also often erroneously opens an email when clicking on the choose box to only select the email on which to perform a function such as move, delete, etc. very annoying.

Some may prefer the new UI. Based on reviews I have noted, many such as me do not prefer the new UI and are requesting the option be provided to choose the previous well designed and efficient UI.

If it isn’t broken, don’t “fix it”.
