I agree. It looks like Yahoo bit off more than it could chew when it presumed most problems could be fixed with simple online tutorials.
For the record, I have NEVER gotten any worthwhile help from either the tutorials, or from telephone help. And the help is RUDE! Today I tried to get someone I could understand. The 'help' person's accent was so heav y I could only understand about 25% of what he was saying, if that much.
Then when I asked if there was anyone whose first language was American English, he disconnected! Why does Yahoo tolerate that sort of behavior?
It looks like Yahoo's wonderful-sounding promises are just a bunch of hot air.
And Yahoo certainly doesn't stand behind it's promises to provide a live person to assist paying customers. Just try to use the Chat feature, and you will find out right quick that it's just another robot program that does its best to push Yahoo customers onto another equally unhelpful page.
