The new page
The new page is less cluttered but we still have the same problem of drawing an ad --that must be endured -- by clicking on anything remotely interesting. Stop it! Nor do I appreciate evidence of tracking me with ads related to previous searches. Again, stop it! I'm thinking of going to duckduckgo.com

Yahoo should say so if it deems any harsh criticism of anything or anyone "abusive." As it stands now Yahoo news comment guidelines are unclear. Anything a Senator might say should be OK for Yahoo commenters as well. Words like "incompetence" or "disgraceful" should be OK as long as a comment is newsworthy, coherent, and not clearly actionable as defamation. False statements are actionable but opinions no matter how misguided are not. If Yahoo does not permit any but the mildest and most respectful criticisms of anything or anyone it should say so. Remove ads with misleading offers such as 'for only $3' when the reality was a monthly autoshipment for $95 unless cancelled in 8 days-add $
Company offers free trial but sends auto shipment monthly for almost $100 if you don't cancel your acct within 8 days which is a longer time frame than it takes to actually reach you. They then charge you, not only the S&H but a 'nominal fee' for what they have shipped, unless you ship back at your own expense.

remove the 6 or 7 vote disagree delete optiion
could you please remove the 6 to 8 disagree option then it deletes the comment. I know you can post under more than one name . Plus it is easy for a political party to flood a web site Have seen this with CBC where the disagree would be in the thousands even more than the number of total comments

lol...can't enter my account that i had for 10 years anymore...lol..so i lose a lot of info / work / etc. so i am moving to another site acc

Spelling and Grammar! I cannot believe how yahoo how so many spelling and grammar mistakes!
A popular site such as yahoo, is in desperate need of an editor, a proof reader or someone to look over the content.
If you guys already have someone doing this job, please ask them to stop using the spell check feature and actually read over the content itself.

Remove the condescending "You are my Anti-Spam hero" comment and "stop the spam instead" ... then you'd be my hero.
Stop the spam ... I'm sure I'm not the only one that is absolutely fed up with finding all the spams and scams, ***** and performance aid promises, filling my mail box to the brim every single day. That ridiculous comment about being your "anti-spam hero" is really insulting and amounts to nothing more than a slap in the face.
