  1. Get rid of this montstrosity of a Homepage. It reflects Google News's Homepage. The old one was far better than this.

    Get rid of this monstrosity for a HomePage. It is nothing new. It reflects Google News. Don't tell me Mayer is the boss of Yahoo.ca? If you read eMarketer, Yahoo's market share is down despite Mayer's attempt to ram her ideas down our throats.

  4. It is no help to me . It takes TOO long to open pages. I am getting tired of the crashes. It is not an improvement for me.

    Let US choose if we want New or Old. The New page does little for me. It freezes more often on my computer.

  9. A suggestion for the new homepage

    The only thing I really don't like is the huge semi-transparent bar that ends up across the bottom half of the pictures. Please put in a way to disable this or make it only appear when you hover over the main picture.

    The smaller pictures below have the headline for the story so there is no need to put the whole thing on the big picture....making the banner appear across the picture ONLY when the picture is hovered over and then disappear if the cursor is moved away would be a great improvement. As it is now almost a third…

  10. My only complaint is "too many US news items. When I want to know what is happening across the border I visit Yahoo US.

    My only complaint is "too many items for south of the border". If I am interested in US news I go to Yahoo US. I don't appreciate wading through items from the US to find Canadian news.

  12. Remove ads with misleading offers such as 'for only $3' when the reality was a monthly autoshipment for $95 unless cancelled in 8 days-add $

    Company offers free trial but sends auto shipment monthly for almost $100 if you don't cancel your acct within 8 days which is a longer time frame than it takes to actually reach you. They then charge you, not only the S&H but a 'nominal fee' for what they have shipped, unless you ship back at your own expense.

  16. remove the 6 or 7 vote disagree delete optiion

    could you please remove the 6 to 8 disagree option then it deletes the comment. I know you can post under more than one name . Plus it is easy for a political party to flood a web site Have seen this with CBC where the disagree would be in the thousands even more than the number of total comments
    It is to easy to remove a pro Liberal or Conservative comment
