Why not be able to post replies to replies about our original post? Or be able to edit for typing mistakes? And right now, when we click on a thread in our email, we see it appear in a page, but once page fully loaded, it is not there anymore, just the original video or news, and we need to dig all posts to find our own.

Trolls have control of Yahoo comments on news stories
It is a shame Yahoo doesn't appear to be aware or interested in fixing this problem. I would say that deliberately inappropriate, vulgar, harassing and otherwise disruptive users are reaching total dominance. Report abuse too easy to hit by mistake
Because of how easy it is to click something by mistake with a touchpad, I recommend adding an "Are you sure?" prompt after clicking "Report Abuse". I have mistakenly clicked it too often on mostly harmless comments.

news for ASIA or Middle East as an example should not have any news from north america but should contain news only for the areas posted for
stop putting news in depts. or areas they don't belong, if you don't have any news for that area that day so be it, I can see my local news local I do not need to read unrelated local news in the Mideast or Asia news

yahoo news is ridiculously cheesy. makes a lot of the stories hard to watch on video
yahoo news (especially the videos) are too cheesy. as if they were meant to be watched by small children. i would suggest a more mature script that would make the videos interesting to watch instead of waiting for the announcer to stop making lame jokes

Yahoo's home sorts out news into various categories; geographical being one. But an imbecile assigns the articles.

I really think you should REMOVE your comment rating system of thumbs up thumbs down and just allow popular rating by replys .
Remove thumbs up thumbs down and just let people reply, this will allow thoughtfullness to be expressed and not just reactions to comments...The way it works now doesn't really show people's true opinions
