During every financial crisis in recent history;
The Dot Com Bust, 9/11, 2008 Global Financial Crisis, and the current COVID pandemic - The banks failed to modify and adjust their credit score system, expecting & providing the exact same service, as they would during fiscal stability.
Any effort from you in the following. goes entirely ignored & unrewarded.
early payment(s) - No rewards, No score boost
extra payment(s) - No rewards, No score boost
catch-up payment(s) - No rewards, No score boost
full balance payment(s) - No rewards, No score boost
Late payments, or no payments, have very long-lasting - adverse effects on your credit scores in both personal & businesses credit score categories.
This is a perfect example of, "predatory behaviour". The neglect & inaction of the banks is not up for debate... Taking advantage of the populous, by refusing to adapt, is not acceptable any longer...
It is time for the banks to stop, stop ignoring the financial hardships of the current era, and begin by providing new credit score provisions that recognise & reflect the market damage of COVID, and start rewarding good single, and mum dad customers, for good financial responsibility.
