The planned Yahoo integration would use OAuth to access a user's Yahoo Fantasy leagues, teams, players, and roster data, and may support user-directed roster actions. RosterHelm may be distributed as a commercial app, including paid or subscription features.

   The Yahoo Fantasy Sports API Terms say the APIs may not be used in connection with commercial activity, and the general Yahoo API Terms refer to prior, express, written permission for income-generating uses. Please confirm in writing whether this planned use is permitted. If separate commercial approval, an agreement, application registration, review, fees, rate limits, or other conditions are required, please provide the correct process and contact.    I created a new confidential OAuth application with “Fantasy Sports – Read” enabled. OAuth authorization succeeds and both access and refresh tokens are issued.

   I run Faabtastic (www.faabtastic.com), a fantasy football site that publishes expert FAAB waiver bids. I am adding a feature that lets a signed-in user connect their own Yahoo fantasy league so the site can mark which players are on a roster. It needs read-only access to the user's leagues and rosters through the Fantasy Sports API, with the user's consent through OAuth.

   My app "Fantasy Feedr" (App ID dijdyO74) carries Fantasy Sports Read, and OAuth sign-in succeeds, but every Fantasy API call, including the public /fantasy/v2/game/nfl, returns 403 "This application is not authorized to perform this action". Creating a new app no longer offers the Fantasy Sports permission, and requesting the fspt-r scope returns invalid_scope.

   Could you enable Fantasy Sports Read for this app, or tell me how a site can obtain it now?

8. Faster Approval process for API

   Hello, Ive been waiting for my yahoo api approval for many weeks now. Is there any way to speed up the process as I have customer in line for services which require the yahoo api to be confirmed. ive sent multiple request via email from our sites email at owners@smackagram.com. 9. Return to BASIC YAHOO again

   If you decide the new look and feel of Yahoo Mail isn't for you, you may be able to switch back to the basic Yahoo Mail for desktop. If you don't see an option to go back to the old Yahoo Mail, it's no longer available for your account.

   Why isn't the user friendly old BASIC YAHOO available for me ? Explain , and enable me to switch to Basic YAHOO again ! Because of user friendly usage of old Basic Yahoo , I didn't prefer anorther mail so far. If I wouldn't return to Basic Yahoo again , I will re-visit the issue.

    In the /n new Yahoo email, I just moused-over the wasted space circle icons to the left of the sender's name, and it did NOT offer to switch to the search feature. But a moment ago when I moused-over the wasted space circle icons left of the sender's name, it did offer to search. Please do not do that, please be consistent, please have the exact same things respond on screen in the exact same way all the time every time everywhere. I appreciate that in the search results screen, no one told the programmers to enable a second user search, expecting the user to "know" and exit the first search first. Nope. Let us search whenever we want to from whatever email display screen we are in - if you show us a name, let us search for that name anytime from anywhere. Consistencly, consistencly, and consistency, please - it will make Yahoo email so much better. Thanks.

    don't hide controls - In the /n new Yahoo email, there is wasted noise on screen - the circle icon letters to the left of sender's names - it took me FOREVER to discover that mouse-over turned those wasted circle icons into a magnifying glass <-- WRONG symbol for searching, but binoculars are hard to draw, I guess. Please get rid of the wasted space of the silly icon circle letters and permenantly put a magnifying glass to the RIGHT of each sender's name so when we mouse-over, we are not covering the name we are trying to search for, so we don't have to move the mouse back and forth, back and forth, to check that we are hovering on the intented name. 13. stop moving everything on screen

    Every time I click a control in the /n new Yahoo, email, everything moves on screen, jumping up and down, changing position, I can't see any thing I was <-- WAS - looking at consistently, so I have to re-scan the display to find what I was just looking at. Icons and controls come and go, and everything jumps on the screen to make space or take over the vacated spaces. STOP. Draw what we are looking at ONCE and leave it there until WE refresh, stop making us hunt to refind what we were just looking at. Thanks.

16. bring back 0-through-9 folder shortcut keys

    I intentionally made my first 9 mailboxes very coordinated so that I could use quick keys to organize my inbox, selecting or searching email, then simply tapping the keys [ D ] [ n ] <-- the 'n' is number of the folder to move to, done.

    Now ( https://mail.yahoo.com/n on 2026-08-27 ) I have to scroll and hope I click on the right folder, I all too often miss by one line due to screen speed, then undo, and then try again - ouch!

20. #fantasysports Security issue: OAuth app cannot be deleted

    My OAuth application’s Client Secret was accidentally exposed. The Delete App confirmation completes, but the application remains active under My Apps. I signed out, refreshed, and tried multiple browsers. Please urgently revoke all credentials and permanently delete the application. Application name: Fantasy Hockey GM. Please contact me privately if the App ID is required.
