In the /n new Yahoo email, I just moused-over the wasted space circle icons to the left of the sender's name, and it did NOT offer to switch to the search feature. don't hide controls - In the /n new Yahoo email, there is wasted noise on screen - the circle icon letters to the left of sender's names - it took me FOREVER to discover that mouse-over turned those wasted circle icons into a magnifying glass <-- WRONG symbol for searching, but binoculars are hard to draw, I guess. stop moving everything on screen
Every time I click a control in the /n new Yahoo, email, everything moves on screen, jumping up and down, changing position, I can't see any thing I was <-- WAS - looking at consistently, so I have to re-scan the display to find what I was just looking at. Icons and controls come and go, and everything jumps on the screen to make space or take over the vacated spaces. STOP. Draw what we are looking at ONCE and leave it there until WE refresh, stop making us hunt to refind what we were just looking at. Thanks.

My OAuth app successfully authenticates users, but Fantasy Sports endpoints return an authorization-required error. The app’s permissions screen shows only OpenID email and profile options, with no Fantasy Sports option. Please enable Fantasy Sports Read access for this developer application.

bring back 0-through-9 folder shortcut keys
I intentionally made my first 9 mailboxes very coordinated so that I could use quick keys to organize my inbox, selecting or searching email, then simply tapping the keys [ D ] [ n ] <-- the 'n' is number of the folder to move to, done.
Now ( https://mail.yahoo.com/n on 2026-08-27 ) I have to scroll and hope I click on the right folder, I all too often miss by one line due to screen speed, then undo, and then try again - ouch!

Fantasy Sports API Permission Missing for New OAuth App Question
I’m creating a new OAuth 2.0 application to use the Yahoo Fantasy Sports API with read-only access.
In the Yahoo Developer app settings, the API Permissions section only offers OpenID Connect permissions. There is no option for Fantasy Sports Read or Read/Write access.
OAuth itself is working correctly. My application successfully receives an authorization code, access token, and refresh token. However, when I call the Yahoo Fantasy Sports API, I receive:

#fantasysports Security issue: OAuth app cannot be deleted
My OAuth application’s Client Secret was accidentally exposed. The Delete App confirmation completes, but the application remains active under My Apps. I signed out, refreshed, and tried multiple browsers. Please urgently revoke all credentials and permanently delete the application. Application name: Fantasy Hockey GM. Please contact me privately if the App ID is required.

I restarted my computer and when I pulled up my email, which I have been using since Yahoo was introduced, I am being forced to use the new
version, which I really do not like. There is no option for me to get my old version back. I pay monthly for this email service and I find it really annoying that you will not allow me to use the old version.

Hello Yahoo Developer Network team,
Could you please confirm whether a Fantasy Sports API access/permission request is on file for our application, The League Times (App ID: hbVf1MLf)? The app appears in the Yahoo Developer dashboard, but the dashboard does not show a request status, case number, or Fantasy Sports permission, and we have not received a confirmation or status email.
If no request is on file, please tell us the correct current process for requesting read-only Fantasy Sports API access.

Enhanced Contact List Management
I needed to share an email distribution list with someone. It would have made it unnecessary for that person to input all of the information that I already have into a new list on her computer. If you could make it possible to share contact lists or to export individual contact lists to Word or Excel, it would be a real improvement.

Hi Yahoo Developer team,
I submitted a Fantasy Sports API access request on 2026-07-30 via https://sports.yahoo.com/developer/access/ for OAuth 2.0 app IEGZFlu7 ("Dave's Fantasy Assistant"). It has been 19 days and I'm 5+ days past the published Aug 6-13 approval window.
Direct OAuth 2.0 probes against my app's authorize endpoint with scope=fspt-r consistently return error=invalidscope&errordescription=invalid+scope, confirming the app is not yet whitelisted for Fantasy Sports read access.
With NFL draft season starting Sept 8-9, 2026, I need this access approved to build my personal draft assistant against my own Yahoo leagues (Anderson Family League #943328 and UFLmaxx #275318). The…
