Make "current location" optional
Using an IP address for current location is mis-leading, inaccurate and short sighted. When I open YAHOO! MAPS it shows my location is Knoxville, TN. The problem is that I am in Elizabethtown, KY 175 miles away from Knoxville.

I'm changing to Google Maps. You don't fix something that was working - and the old Yahoo Maps was working.

In IE 10, Windows 8, I am unable to drag the map around with a left-click. I can right-click and select center here and zoom in/out.
with the old map i could drag the map when left clicking, the arrow would turn into a hand. I really miss this. I prefer Yahoo maps over Google maps because the time estimations are usually much more accurate, however this make it very difficult to use.

Yahoo Maps has the same problem with Firefox that Google Maps has. The right click menu opens UNDERNEATH the standard right click menu.

Local language street name
One biggest failure of iOS map, is that, it lack of the local language street name, where this is the main reason that non english speaking country use google map (it has both domestic language + english street name / building name). DO NOT REPEAT APPLE's FAILURE!!!!!!

I dont see anywhere to find things nearby? I am totally lost on this map page. It is not worth the frustration of trying to figure out went?
I want to put in a zip code, search for a type of business in the area, and have them show up on the map all around the location I have entered. When I put my cursor on the business I want to see the adress, phone number, web site and distance pop up. I have no idea wahsoever what you have going on now?

Cut and pasted the address straight from the casino web site. Yahoo Maps says no such address.

Don't open drop down when click-to-zoom. I have to continually close it because it keeps popping open when I click-to-zoom.
Why do I have to keep closing the suggested places drop down? Every time I click to zoom at wherever I am interested in, the drop down opens up again - forcing me to close it again because it is often in my way.
