Are the news pages being web designed by a 12 year old?
Why would anyone think there is a need for all the preview pop-ups of articles and of comments? Pop-ups have never been liked and are intrusive when reading an article. If your mouse wonders a bit, up pops something that is now necessary to shut down so you can continue reading the article.
Please have some restraint when coding these pages as it is really starting to get ignorant.
