I want to customize the stories on my news feed! I am REALLY sick of getting stories about murder, animal abuse, genocide, etc. ENOUGH
I don't want to get depressed or outraged every time I check the news feed-- 90% of the stories I get are gruesome, and if I had young ones around while scanning my news- they'd be traumatized. Some of them traumatized me, and I am an adult!

This article appeared on my Yahoo News feed today. What garbage. These same stories about "human trafficking" via Target, Walmart, etc. have been circulating around social media forever. And Kelsey Weekman decided to make some Reddit user's story, with no verification, into an article? Seriously garbage. Snopes keeps debunking these stories because there is zero proof from the stores or police that it happened. Well, here it is September 23, 2020 and some of the issues I read about from 2019 are still an issue today, mainly the slanted, leftist propaganda and the inability to turn it off. I tried, I clicked "see less" but it keeps coming. Now I try to just bypass the newsfeed page as much as I can. What a racket!

Hi Jess. Unfortunately that is the reality of our country and the greater world outside of it right now. We can choose to ignore it or be aware of what is going on.
What we do with this knowledge is up to us. We can be or at least support the people who are trying to make changes for the better or insulate ourselves from these ugly truths we don't want to see and live in denial. -

yahoo does allow to remove 20 (out of 100) publishers from their news feed, leaving 80 publishers to their editorial discretion
(which is extremely biased and slanted against conservative users. For example, where are stories from Fox, Breitbart, Daily Caller, Washington Times, New York Post, and other similar sources)? -

Please for the love of the 1'st constitutional amendment right!
