I can't see where I can pick to go back to old format. I need to be able to see contacts and assign to lists. New format sucks.

I concur. Not only do I prefer the old mail format, but since the switch, Yahoo! refuses all incoming mail to my account, even when it is sent FROM my account! Thus I have quit email de facto and against my will.

Please let us go back to the classic Yahoo. This is horrible. It's slow, clumsy, ugly and aggravating. It takes forever to close an email after reading it or freezes up completely. I have yet to see a single positive statement about the changes you forced on us. This is not an improvement!

Why there is no one from Yahoo that can clearly answer to those who wrote in the bottom of their setting, they do not see switch to basic version. when you search, you get instructions for changing to basic email that does not work, as though Yahoo sees a different page than most of the people who wrote. So what is the solution?

I want my old system back. I can no longer assign groups to new contacts nor can I change any groups and I cannot create new groups/lists.

I have been a n user for 20 years. IF not more. You are taking away the option to switch back to classic yahoo, that was working. Do you really want to completely destroy the reputation and the brand? You are on the edge already yet you PUSH towards changes that nobody wants. Your design is horrible. It is slow, breaking down and unreadable. You want to be like Gmail but if people wanted gmail they would just transfer there. There is no need to be a copycat. Really. It's better to be Yahoo than a stupid and pointless weak copy of Gmail. Just stop.

this new yahoo is HORRIBLE. It has completely slowed my email usage to a crawl. I cant get it to reply without clicking on it 3-5 times I cant get to see attachments because it keeps jumping. i WILL GO TO COMCAST

yahoo took away the option to revert back to classic. i continued to select "revert back to classic" each time yahoo automatically changed to new format. now yahoo has taken away the option all together.
