How can this be improved or dealt with? Simply provide unbiased news. We are in dangerous times now where the bias displayed through, supposed news outlets, is glaringly, obviously biased which feeds the intolerance from different points of view. To have an article with the title - "Mike Pence Says Stripping Women of Rights More Important Than Midterm Gains" is disgusting! I will submit this to the CRTC as you folks need to be straightened out. If you cannot be unbiased just say so. Myself and the rest of like minded individuals will go elsewhere. Yahoo seems to be going down the same road as CNN which is pathetic. Do better! Provide the news as it is! I will determine how I should feel.

Only allow comments on certain issues then allow " Staff" to decide who gets to comment. I have been banned or something from commenting. Wow!! Just an average American with an opinion but not the right opinion.

Tired of the racial deal just to separate our country! Our community is not a racist comment and the only ones that think that way are the problem!

Moderating content of the published articles and their comments should be halted immediately.. It is a daunting task, wasting lots of computer and personel resources. There is a better way.. easier, and way more informative to everyone.. Let eash reader/poster, hit the like button, or dislike button show the numer of likes and dislikes and only let a reader/poster one vote per article or comment. Let ther be freedom for what is said.... Let there be a flag for inciting violence with a count number.. Then let the post, like, dislike, and incite violence numbers stand.
Then the readrs/posters are responsible for the numbers.. If a moderator is called in to make a judgement against the poster.. let them turn the post RED ink. and that is all.. -

Try fact-based and old-fashioned investigative reporting, not hearsay and sensationalism. Stop imitating CNN, CBS, CSNBC, ABC, and NBC, by always protecting and making excuses for the Biden family, the DOJ, and the FBI. There is undeniable and irrefutable proof of their corruption, lies, and illegal activities yet it is either not reported, covered up, or classified as "misinformation". There should be fair, equal, and impartial news...no personal opinions.

There are many opinions disguised as facts. Many such opinions are strawmen. An example is the rejection of Liz Cheney as voters embracing a stolen vote. The truth is that voters rejected her because she did not represent them as well as the other candidate. I needed to know that she wasn't elected. I wanted to know what she and the other candidate represented. I didn't want someone who likely does not live in Wyoming tell me about some QAnon-level conspiracy from an entire state of voters based on a single issue. This is from a Never-Trumper who didn't like Cheney and is insulted by your insinuations.

It makes me all warm inside sensing the pain your "writers" must be feeling when they posted the story of Liz Cheney's demise! The story is still a republican or conservative bashing session for sure, no hiding that.

let me get this straight. some fascist traitor gets to flash his middle finger in the photo at the top of this article (https://news.yahoo.com/marine-vet-avoids-jail-jan-203224867.html) but if i write "derriere," this post is rejected by moderators?
what a joke yahoo is, and so very often. hypocritical and stupid, too.

I agree with this position 100%. I feel that allowing comments of some stories is totally at the discretion of yahoo. But it is so irresponsible and it creates a bias.
I saw a story that yahoo chose to publish detailing a person in Alaska using a "white privilege" card to give to law enforcement officers instead of proper ID. According to the article, she expresses her support for the "men in blue".The article itself is what it is. But to purposely not allow comment on an article of that type makes yahoo no better than other organizations who attempt censorship.
I have always supported yahoo and will continue to do so. It is my default go to on everything. But the powers that be, picking and choosing when a person can and/or cannot freely express, is truly beneath the standards of excellence that yahoo has maintained over the years. Either let everything be up for discussion or go back to allowing no discussions whatsoever.
Highly disappointed.

People used to be able to offset slanted articles via the comments section. Yahoo News used to be pretty decent with the comments section. Now, the only thing bringing me to Yahoo is a junk email account I use maybe once every couple months. Open up comments.

I sincerely appreciate for allowing me to have an email account for many years. That said, as my way of saying thank you for that privilege, I would recommend Yahoo News, to stop siding with one political party. I have realized that there is not a single day in which YahooNews does not have a negative headline news about the Republican Party or a high rank republican politician. That does not speak good about you YahooNews. The media is supposed to be neutral. When one take sides, you lost credibility. Promoting certain agendas is not always good.
Thank you
