I agree with this comment and I also have been a long time fan of Yahoo but I am not the fan I was. I still use the email function and the search engine but I am very disappointed in the left leaning biased ***** that has been taken. I listen to a lot of talk radio and I get more unbiased news from that avenue than any other. I hope one day that this is no longer the case and that I will be able to trust the news you post in the future.

I am in 100% agreement. Not sure why they would do this. Half the country cannot be wrong. If only half the country supports the left, why would you alienate the other half? Do you realize how many articles they have written against Donald Trump, they shielding him protecting him from the masses getting on here and flaming him. He is now calling the police officer who was protecting Democrats and Republicans, from both houses, a Murderer. Now wouldn't he have been praising him if the shoe was on the other foot, and some crazed Republican was trying to enter the White House to murder the President? It could have happened, If Trump had acknowledged Biden's win, there are people that would have done such a thing, and yes Republicans.

How are people supposed to even react or respond to that question after reading about an Asian man being brutally beaten and having his head stomped by a black person? Are they supposed to say yes I enjoy reading about a 16 year old being shot and killed when he answers the door.
Any person that would say yes they enjoy reading about these types of incidents needs to be taken in for a psych evaluation. And that statement alone might trigger people to commit these same types of crimes. The average person that actually reads that should be disturbed by the encouragement of submerging themselves by being encouraged to read more and more of this type of violence. Seeing these articles should repulse people not elicit enjoyment. Please concider removing this question after those types of articles. It really is disturbing you allow something like that and at the same time refuse to let people comment on controversial stories.

I realize this idea may reflect some error in some measure of accuracy. However, a minor error may not necessarily invalidate my idea. My sense is that the basic idea is still valid. I have read ideas related to my suggestion in the news, and my idea for the CDC to create this new sort of metric seems to be based on science from what I have read. I cannot say that I have the research to support this idea like a Master's Thesis. However, if what I've read on the internet is accurate, I believe your editorial staff will find from its own research that there is factual information to support my idea of such a new metric by the CDC.
