Be specific in telling someone why their post was rejected when one is.
When comments are rejected, give a specific reason for the rejection not just a page full of possible reasons and state what exactly was inappropriate about the comment.

Yahoo isn’t going to be specific because they don’t know and obviously don’t care. Perfectly valid posts get rejected while some pretty nasty and insulting ones get through.

There have been several incidents when I tried to fix a comment and ended up being blocked from commenting on the article.
There have been a LOT of incidents when posting facts and statistics have been blocked -

It's because you depend on a thing that can't think to monitor the responses. Apparently Yahoo spends too much time trying to make money and doesn't want to spend some to hire people to do the job. I guess that's Internet business model. Low profile, no transparency, do what you want without accountability.
