Rejection of posts in Yahoo news forums
I was guided here by your agent at 800-608-1059. My posts in the Yahoo news forums are now being automatically rejected. Initially I thought it was a glitch in your system, since by comparison with other posts, my posts are civil and constructive. Occasionally I argue aggressively, but as often as possible I support my arguments with evidence or referrals to sources. I definitely believe my contributions are positive and add a voice dedicated to broadened understanding, accountability, and truth.
My son recently upgraded my computer to WINDOWS 11, and I had to re-register at a number of sites, including Yahoo. I also switched browsers, from Google Chrome to Mozilla Firefox. I discovered that my user name in the news forums was different in Mozilla. (I've never chosen a username in your forums.) Suddenly I was able to post again. As always, I post material that is deliberately mainstream and mostly brief and benign. However, today - and for the first time - I saw a notification saying this: "Your ability to post comments has been temporarily restricted. Learn More"
Under my previous user ID, I could post, but within a minute the post would be rejected - every time. Now, I'm blocked from even submitting a post. No reason given. I'd really like to understand what guidelines or policies I'm flagged as not observing. I even tried writing to the guy who invented Yahoo, but I doubt I had his correct contact information. I'm a law-abiding man with a wife and three sons and two grandchildren, a flourishing private practice as a psychologist (PhD from the University of Texas, 1985), and a long history (25 years) as a good neighbor and a good citizen. I'd like to better understand what I've done to trigger this exclusionary practice by Yahoo. Many thanks for your input.
Kind regards,
Mark Wernick
