Please ensure that Yago Antunes is not allowed to write an article headline ever again.
In a time where news outlets are losing customers to independent news sources, having misleading headlines is the easiest thing to point to in why people are losing trust in the information they are being presented. This is the very first time in the 17 years that I have been reading Yahoo news that I have ever felt the need to make a complaint of any kind. Please ensure that Yago Antunes is never allowed to write another headline for an article again. Mr. Yago Antunes wrote the following headline, "Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss replaced as starter, signs with SEC rival".
Nothing in this headline could be considered an accurate depiction of reality. Not only has Trinidad Chambliss not been replaced as a starter, he is also not signing with an SEC rival. I clicked on this story because of the headline and for no other reason. I thought "no way this kid just won a bowl game and is now leaving." Turns out I was correct.
I have been reading Yahoo news since I was 15. If ever see another article by this person, no **** I have no problem getting my news from other sources. I come to Yahoo because I trust that it is based in fact and reality. If that is no longer the case, you can bet my eyes and clicks will go somewhere else.
