It is very difficult to read the news, when half the screen is covered by a banner ad. This is new, and should be changed.

Please give us only articles that are complete in themselves. Please stop giving us articles that provide only a few paragraphs before requiring us to buy a subscription in order to finish reading the article. These drive me nuts.

I use ad blocker to eliminate most ads but ad space above top of Yahoo News page remains blank which is annoying and requires me to scroll down to get to news. How do I eliminate that large black spot as I use Yahoo News as my home page.

How do I eliminate the big block for advertisements. I already use an ad blocker but it is a big white box I have to scroll down to get to the headline news.

It should be possible to better vet ads to weed out those that are pure click-bait. For example, I live in Alberta and consistently see ads for solar installations which claim the government will cover the costs in certain zip codes. How do I know this is a bogus ad? In Canada we don't have zip codes.

Second, clicking on the link for one of the sites takes you to a web page for a company that has been sued (Northern Power) for misleading sales, among other things.

I know you need to sell ads for revenue, but it should be possible to avoid posting these type of ads.

Yolo is an unsafe site advertising on Yahoo News- repeatedly triggered my antivirus/malware, it has false links and pop-ups.

Check out these scams before letting them advertise.
