New "News" format ruins comments feature
My "idea" is for Yahoo to go back to the old news format since the comments section is SCREWED UP. STOP FIXING WHAT ISN'T BROKE. The "new" news format has ruined the comments feature. I get notifications I have received a reply, click on it, and it only goes as far as taking me to that page. to view that response I got, I would have to scroll through hundreds of comments. Even "IF" I find the comment, clicking "Show Reply" only brings up the box for me to reply. I have tried 4 different browsers, of which Opera won't…

Your new news stream layout is absolutely terrible.
Putting a continuous stream of articles after the article ends is just bad. Whole watching a video on the news article I clicked on I kept hearing out of place talking in the background wondering wth it was. Turned out there was another video playing 2-3 articles down in some other article that was set to autostart when page opens. If I want to read other articles I will click on them. Don't lump them in with the article I've chosen.

Stories Do Not Update
Yahoo News does not update stories on the mobile app. I use other platforms such as CNN and Fox or Apple News and Google to get the news. The stories do not update on mobile and they are not the same as the web version either. If i find a story on mobile and later try to catch up on the web, i cannot find it. This has been happening for quite some time now. I am signed in to both my mobile and web accounts.

Hey Yahoo your front page news links are messed up! No matter which story I click on, it simultaneously plays a second story. Oops!
Your whole news feed is a disaster. From formatting, to what you decide is the lead story. This latest problem where 2 stories play simultaneously is just the latest in a months-long trail of technical design issues. Maybe you should focus on how to do it right the first time rather than pushing so many changes at once. You're losing your most loyal customer base.

What happened to my ability to hide stories I don't like so you'd know not to show me any more?
Up until about a day ago I could click an "X" and make stories I DIDN'T want to see, such as everything to do with Kardashians, race riots and the stupid Oscars, disappear from my Yahoo portal page. This feature is now gone and the quotient of seriously annoying stories on my page just went up 200 percent and I can't make them go away. I'm going to be looking for a new homepage this week since between this and the changes to comments, the page is now just making my blood pressure go up instead of letting me easily…

Pls fix the local news
You have recently changed the news sources for my local news page. I don't know what map you are perusing, but Bridgeton and Trenton are far, far away from my town, notwithstanding that we are all in New Jersey. I can practically spit on NYC from here - why should I have to read about freaking Trenton? Please give me back news sources that actually cover the area in which I live, and update more than once a week. What you've got now is useless.

Every time I click on a story, I get a blank page with an X to close the story window. Even though no story popped up for me to read. Yahoo has really gone to ****
