4. Stop posting joke stories on the news pages as if they are true news. [Borowitz report]

   Yahoo's front page posts "headlines" from the Borowitz Report as though they are actual news headlines. They aren't. They are jokes, similar to the Onion. Yahoo's front page includes them as real headlines among real news stories, with no indication that THEY ARE A JOKE.

7. Yahoo news won't stay off

   Yahoo news video box won't stay paused. It stops for a few seconds but as I scroll it keeps turning itself back on. You won't let me hide/close the video box, your developers don't seem to know how to create a pause function and the videos are useless-no wonder your firm has become a disaster.

8. Can't view the things I'm getting notifications for

   I comment on a lot of news stories because it's something I enjoy doing. However, for the past several months, no matter what browser I use or what computer, it's becoming increasingly more difficult to go back and look at my own comments. I'll get notifications by my mail icon saying "you got xx thumbs up for your comment". Then I click it and it just takes me to the story, rather than my comment. If I try searching for the story and then looking for a "my comments" button, there isn't one. What's the point of having notifications and being able to leave comments if I can't go back and see the comments people have left on my comments?

10. One of your sponsored ad tried to install a virus on my system.

    The ad, which I can't find anymore, was about recently discovered "Dragon Eggs". I clicked and was redirected to

    OMG, it took over my system and tried to automatically install a fake flash player. I didn't have control of my mouse! Please get rid of this link. I would expect that Yahoo is a safe site for me to use. I don't expect to get a virus from one of the ads posted on your website.

    I want to know how the comments on news items work.
    I post a comment and it immediately goes to page 5 of the comments. Nobody is going to see it there.
    How about keeping the most recent comments a the top of the page for one hour then the most liked after that. At least people will have a chance to read the new comments that way.

15. make bots editing curse words better

    It's admirable that you have a bot that replaces obscenities with @$%@$! on comments, but it could be a bit more sophisticated. For example, comments on an article about early man changed Hom_o Sapiens to #$!$ Sapiens. Stupid bots.
