I am done with Yahoo articles, without the comment section your stories just seemed biased and boring..
biased articles, no feed back, Yahoo reporters are not that good and I will read the news on a different site.

Stoping the comments prior to the elections
Funny how Yahoo picked this election period to stop the comments. I know that many ideas were passed back and forth during the last elections and maybe some of them contributed to Trumps election. It is certain, however, that Yahoo doesn't want to repeat this possibility. Well so much for freedom of the press as far as it's readers are concerned.

allow comments to counter your incorrect headings. You guys are so far left you would even fail at being a socialist.

Be fair Yahoo!
Its pretty obvious why you removed the comment section. 100% of your news articles attack Pres Trump and show Biden in a good light (which is difficult). You never cover articles on Trump's mid east peace deal, lowering pharma costs, helping small business and on and on. Your leftist platform belies any journalistic integrity...be fair to both sides pro and con.

The Comments Section was an opportunity to Educate Conspiracy Theorists
Yea, sure the comments section got toxic at times, but it was the only neutral ground I know of where both sides could have some kind of dialog. Without the comments section the conspiracy nuts will slither back to their conspiracy websites and just grow more paranoid.
Show some courage Yahoo and return the section.

If you bring back comments...
If you bring back comments to the News section, require proof of U.S. citizenship to access it. Require a photocopy of a person's U.S. passport, and permanently revoke access to those who use comments to spread dangerous misinformation, conspiracy theories, racist views, hate, etc.
U.S. citizens who wish to engage in free speech responsibly should have no issue with a proof of citizenship requirement and strict guidelines regarding acceptable behavior.

Vote here if you demand Yahoo putting back comment
Flood this post with vote so both Yahoo and we the user see how many want comment back and kill there lie of not being bias.
-
Does anyone here believe Yahoo people are going to read these comments? Let alone act on them?
How about posting the dates for each comment?

Very disappointed about removing the readers comments
I remember the first day I accessed the Internet back in 1993 in the computer lab of U. of Houston. Yahoo.com was probably my first site to browse. Since then and for 27 years now, Yahoo has been "home" to me, the place where I go to find out what is happening around the world. I literally spend hours on your different sites every single week.
Removing the readers comments from your news article was one of the worst decisions you have made. It took away 90% of the value of the site. I have been so mad and disappointed…

Why lie? "Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect". Where is that?
What is this lie? Hopefully, the media will broadcast this nonsense, since you took the ability to post, away from us.

Stop openly showing your leftist bias by only posting stories from leftist sights and reopen comments
Try putting stories with opposing views back to back. That is what real news source would do. I know you are not. Real journalism is dead.

Just checking in regarding comment section
When will the survey be complete and we get the comment section back. I miss the absurdity of it all. And this is prime time as the election is getting closer. PLEASE bring back soon.

put comments back
Will yahoo keep the comment section down until AFTER the Nov vote? thus stiffling any political comments or views? Seems you have had long enough to achieve the goal you wanted by now. Maybe this is how yahoo decided to act neutral, to please the politicians?

Losing your Clicks?
Hey Yahoo, are you starting to feel the pain of losing all those viewers?
I just stopped in to see if the comments were back.
I'm posting this comment and then heading back over to WAPO. -
Comments back!
I ask that you put back comments from readers. Stop controlling public and let us comment on your articles. It is very boring just to read your articles. What are you afraid of? Why are you scared of your readers opinions? This is the United States of America, we have freedom of speech but you are blocking us from expressing our opinions. All what you care is CONTROL of public and brainwashing public just like communist countries aka North Korea and former Soviet Union. I would like to remind you what President Reagan said: Mr. Gorbachev tear this wall down!…

Yahoo needs to stop being cowards and allow free speech to return to the poorly written articles.
Posting feedback should allow better content and Yahoo is becoming so frightened people express themselves while taking shots at the rights of EVERYONE, all over the USA, all over the world. They are just frightened to death people point out what a poor job they are doing.

Comments removed so Yahoo can spread liberal fake news without backlash
Yahoo has removed the comment section because of the overwhelming support for Donald Trump. Now they can report ALL things liberal, left, democrat without the fear of backlash. Every suggestion has been to put back the comments. But Yahoo will NEVER do it as long as Trump is president.
