  1. You can improve Yahoo news by opening up comments again

Yahoo, thought I would check back to see if you started letting readers comment again. See that answer is still no so I will continue using a different news feed and thus I will not support your revenue stream. It is a shame as I enjoyed your news reader previously. Guess I will check back after November since it seems as if you have a political agenda and hope to influence the election.

  2. Funnel Layout

Get rid of it. The previous layout provided more features/articles at once while this one starts mildly strong then quickly reduces to a funnel with a pre-arranged string of articles hand picked for a particular outcome.

Restore your comments section as soon as possible. I like to read everyone's opinion. It is both informative and entertaining. All credible publications have a comments section for their readers. Thank you.

  9. Alex Saab Subjected to Cruel and Inhuman Treatment

Alex Saab Subjected to Cruel and Inhuman Treatment

Evidence is beginning to emerge that Venezuela’s Special Envoy Alex Saab is being denied his most basic and fundamental rights. This despite protestations from the Cape Verdean President Jorge Carlos Fonseca that Cape Verde was “a model democracy” and “known for upholding the rule of law”.

This is clearly not a view shared by Cape Verde’s new best friends from the United States. The US State Department, in its annual review of human rights and prison conditions in Cape Verde said “Prisoners complained of cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment. Inmates…had…

  10. Change your goals - Bring back comments - how long does a "temporary suspension" last? Oh - you're waiting until the elections are over...

Censorship is when an authority (such as a government or religion or Yahoo) cuts out or suppresses communication. You need to rethink your position and change your goals. To squelch the voices of those who may disagree with your generally left-leaning, socially-just agenda is not the way to win..

  12. Gathering feedback really that takes years?

Yahoo is taking years to get feedback? Looks like yahoo does not do their jobs. If we the people took that long they would be crying.
Verizon/Yahoo make their money threw clicks on their content , so now that the did away with comments I will not click on any of their articles and deprive them of a pay check . Anyone reading this should do the same . Yahoo Verizon and att is natzis starting with their ceo's on down.

  14. Well, for Starters..... show news that is not biased! Show news that has actual meaning! STOP promoting negativity against the President!

Show respect for the leader of our country, the police, public authority figures regardless if you agree or not!!!! You all are promoting hate and further separating the residents of this country! The way the media has portrayed us is we can no longer be friends or civil with one another unless we agree on everything! If we have a difference of opinion or have different beliefs the media is promoting us to condemn the other! Since when did one persons beliefs and feelings become the only way everyone else has to believe?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!! We are all different and we should…

  15. Yahoo is biting off its nose to spite its face by disabling the comment section.

Yahoo is driving people away from what used to be a convenient, user-friendly forum where people could "engage in a safe and engaging place fore users to connect over interests and passions". Yahoo is just following the rest of the liberal media with its censorship, rather than being part of the solution. If your articles can't take the heat, then you delete. It's become such a cliche on social media sites. Why don't you try being better and dealing more in facts, and less in biased, liberal speculation and Trump-hate.

  16. It is obvious that Yahoo is suppressing dissent on its biased liberal articles by claiming that it is temporarily banning comments.

Allow article commenting again. This is America not China. It is obvious that you are suppressing dissent because you are afraid it may be contagious. If your biased, liberal articles can't stand up to debate then try being more factual. Surrounding yourselves with like-minded liberals while blocking your ears to opposing thought just keeps you locked into a dumb, Democrat bubble.

  18. Don't do surveys during presidential campaigns.

Schedule surveys when they aren't preventing public opinion on stories being posted that the public cannot respond to. It appears very suspect. Especially during campaign season.

  19. Moved to FOX NEWS. Yahoo sucks without comments. Democrat for Trump 2020.

Bring back comments! Suppression of readers voices and opinions is a clear intolerance of any opinion but those of your biased leftist writers. Moderate democrats like myself are sick and tired of Yahoo's cancel culture.
