  2. Stop "news articles" that are actually trolling for subscriptions.

Yahoo includes "articles" from the LA Times, that aren't really articles. Instead they are truncated teaser paragraphs intended to induce the reader to subscribe to the LA TImes on line services.

    This practice is fundamentally disingenuous.

If Yahoo is going to post an article from the LA Times, it should post the entire article or not at all.

  4. One click to read a story and not two clicks

Why do I have to click on a story twice now to read it? It used to be one click. What genius that this was a good idea? Please go back to one click. Also, now that you have a like button, why don't you have a dislike button? How are you going to be able to tell what your readers want to see?

  5. Balance your news with conservative and liberal coverage.

You are Biased! You are pro liberal and anti conservative in your news coverage. You need fair and balanced coverage to appeal to all your users, not just to Progressives!

  8. News sources

Please stop relying on websites for content such as Hello Giggles and Holykaw. These are not news nor professional. Many other areas of the site are top notch, especially the finance section. Usage of these, especially the very immature and irrelevant Hello Giggles, sites detracts greatly from the brand.

  12. Please rid the news feed of right wing-nut pseudo-news!

Such propaganda web sites as "International investors daily" "The National Interest" "Newsmax" etc., etc., are not credible and lack legitimacy. They have no place on a news feed and should not be "featured" as news!

  13. stop posting "stories" from Salon.com

Salon.com doesn't know the difference between editorializing/opinion and actual news reporting. I am truly tired of the passing off their nonsense in the guise of "news". Please stop posting anything from Salon. Thank you.

  15. Too many ads slowing things down

I am thinking of quitting yahoo after many years. It takes forever to read an article with all the ads popping up delaying it. Please, do something about this. I have no issues with other sites.

  16. Post real news

Meanwhile, Yahoo News is posting about people living in airplanes and twins who have the same boyfriend, yet I see nowhere on here about how between Texas and Louisiana the border is closed because of flooding. I have not seen anything showing our natural disaster throughout parts of Louisiana. People have lost their homes, animals and are really struggling and all Yahoo News wants to post is dumb stuff about the presidential election and I'm just tired of it. Put real news not entertainment. You have 2 separate sections and apparently can't figure out what's what.

  17. Dear YAHOO, stop linking to ANYTHING on ANSWERS.COM, that site is the WORST!!!

Dear YAHOO, stop linking to ANYTHING on ANSWERS.COM, that site is the WORST!!! Once on their site it's a snails pace to get from one page to the next while you wait for 9,999 ads to load on the side bars on BOTH SIDES of the page. that site is USLESS. Anytime I click on a news item that leads me to that page, I not only close that page but the Yahoo page that lead me there, to escape net lag.

  18. Please allow away so that certain groups do not have access to some personal news feed.

I get news from some sights that are nothing more than radical right, fascist nonsense ... I am occasionally conned by their headlines into the beginnings of reading their articles.

I do not know how Yahoo determines who gets a soapbox on my page ... but some of these things (that call themselves News) just aren't. CNS is one of these ... I don't want to see their trash.

It would be great if Yahoo were to include a button that would allow you to ban certain " news" websites from your feed; after all it should be our choice…

  19. Let people pick their sources

You have a problem when give people the choice of what SUBJECT they do and don't wanna hear, but you don't let them pick and choose their SOURCES. I occasionally get get "news" from "news"max, a hyper partisan, absurdly right wing propaganda outlet that doesn't actually report on anything aside from fake news that riles up conservatives, and it's nothing I want anywhere near my feed. You should let people choose whether or not they want any certain non-yahoo, Reuters, or AP article on their feed. I understand, yahoo wants people to read yahoo articles, and Reuters and Associated Press…
