Comment filtering
Now that Yahoo is owned by verizon, stop the filtering of comments. DO NOT filter comments, left or right. Excluding profanity or threatening comments is one thing but otherwise free speech rules.

By time your "headlines" appear they are many times hours old! Can't you spead things up a bit, and not show those old "news" items as fresh
The headlines should not be old, no more than an hour. If one wants to post a comment to it, we find them to be so old no one is reading them anymore!

stop the videos from auto playing
STOP with the auto playing videos, i don't want your audio to come blaring out because a video started that I don't care about. If i want to watch something, I know how to click play.

There are articles that I find very disturbing. How can I filter those type of articles out? For example; "Mom kills babies" and more like

Ignore the idiots suggesting less news that appears to be negative about Trump.
It only looks negative when posting articles about Trump because he says and does such stupid and dangerous things. People who don't like that reality can go live in their alternate universe.

Make it so we can filter out various news sources.
We need a way to filter through the hack news outlets, the more attention we give to places like salon, or huffington post, the more they get in revenue. It's like they post bait articles so people can just skip past their 8th grade writing skills and go right for the comments. If we can just simply filter them out, we can get actual news.

Why is it everytime for the last few weeks everytime I click on Read More for any story it takes me to a past yahoo page not the story
Why when I click on Read More on a story it takes me to a past yahoo news page and not the story? Why not just post the story instead of take me where I don't want to go.

Read More button does not go to rest of story but opens a new Yahoo News page.
Every time I click the Read More button to get the rest of the news story, it only opens a new Yahoo News page. I never get the rest of the story. Why go here if you can't get the full story.

I would like to have a choice in which news organizations i see in my feed!

Verify your news
Your news items are frequently inaccurate. As an example recently you posted a news item that stated " Dems and Trump agree" Trump will resign by the end of the year under an agreement with Pelosi and Shumer..............Thats a load of ****, it was remeved but should have never been posted. Serously i'm an independent but your leaning to the left is getting tiresome.

Consider removing "User Reactions" from the front page of Yahoo news.
I think you guys ought to consider removing the visible "User Reactions" from the Yahoo News Mobile page. I've come for news and headlines but then have to see some hateful reaction from your "users". Regardless of the news topic, some hateful reaction is visible. It's really bothersome. Or at the very least, make it an option to hide them. I've only seen this feature on the mobile page.
