  1. Add a broken heart to comments options

The ability to voice liking something on an article in the form of a heart is great. But bear with me, What if? We also had a broken heart or some form of perhaps a down system of voting too. Crazy notion right ( :

But sarcasm aside bring back thumbs up thumbs down or I will permanently stop using yahoo along with countless others and you will lose masses of ad revenue. Its clearly all yahoo cares about

  2. Canadian news

I am in Canada. I am accessing the Yahoo Canada site. The majority of news on the Yahoo Canada site is from the UK. I don't care about local news from the UK. Can the Yahoo Canada site please populate the news articles with Canadian news? I didn't think I would have to make this request. Go to the CBC website and see how many news stories they have about a robbery in Bristol, England...none I'd bet.

  5. Ed Klein? Really? The guy doesn't even have cred with conservatives. He isn't a journalist, but fabricating polemicist. Stop!

Whatever the ideology, please include only credible journalists. Ed Klein, for example, miight as well write about Bat Boy. He is foam-at-the-mouth crazy, with no credibility whatsoever

  7. An Option to NOT have videos load by default

Put in an option, that ties into the user's Yahoo username/email to not have videos automatically load on a new page. The videos can still be played manually.

I realize that video ads are part of your revenue. If the option to not have videos play is enabled, you can compensate for it by placing a banner ad on the page instead.

  8. Your scripts are killing my browser but the political commentary has become too much. Goodbye Yahoo! as my home page.

I've had Yahoo! as my home page for over 20 years now. I've been suffering through the ridiculous advertising driven scripts, but now the political commentary is so blatant it is just not worth it. I'll be getting my internet elsewhere. Goodbye.

  9. Angelina Jolie's divorce is NOT Breaking News

Celebrity drama should never have found its way into breaking news. Keep that in the "Entertainment" section. Only give me an alert for important stuff like real breaking news

  10. Yes, your articles are not factual and many very dishonest! If you do not clean your biased articles I'm leaving yahoo! It actually makes me

Start reporting factual nonbiased articles ASAP. I will leave if they do not change and network for others to do the same! They are not serious professional articles!!!!!

  11. Stop sites like the Washington Post from blocking unless you subscribe!

It should not be mandatory to subscribe to a news letter/paper if they are posting articles on Yahoo News! Your news site should be FREE to all and if it doesn't stop, you are going to lose people...like me...and I've been a Yahoo "customer" since about the year 2000!

  12. I recommend establishing November 9th 2016 as “National Social Reset Day”

I recommend establishing November 9th 2016 as “National Social Reset Day”
This election has created social rifts between people, colleagues, Facebook Friends who have strong views as to who should be the one to lead our country forward. Sure, we all have our opinions, identified the stakes are high, so much is on the line, and we have visions and expectations of what our individual communities will look like after the election. We may not agree with or like who becomes president, yet it is our duty as citizens to respect the office of the President of the United States. …

  16. Please be neutral in your news reporting. You seem very bios to certain groups and races over other groups and races. This is not news.

Yahoo: Please become neutral in your reporting of news. Being one sided is no longer news but a way to influence people's opinion. Yahoo then looses credibility.

  18. I feel like every day you have stories on infant and toddler abuse and murders. It is not the kind of thing you want to see first thing.

Could you make a separate category called crime etc. so that readers can choose to go there if they wan to. Thanks.

  19. My suggestiojn is that you stop your political bias. What you choose not to include in your news speaks volumns.

Why don't you feature a story that Hillary Clinton claims to be in New York City on 911. She is a liar, but you won't call her on it.

  20. STOP THE SCROLLING ADVERTISEMENTS!!!!

Here's a thought- stop blocking what people are trying to read!!! Yahoo you have done some really stupid things before but this one tops them all. No wonder you folks are going out of business.

Calling this move pathetic would be kind.
