Remove "Read more" link.
Yahoo News is my favorite site to get daily news. A change was done where you no longer can scroll through the 1-90 news story pictures across the top and view each. I miss that feature.
The other change that was made recently is having to open a second window when you select and click on the "Read more" link. I don't want to have to open a second window.
Regards,
Jerry

see fewer like this filter
I actually like the fluff news, and I like that I can see "fewer like this" based on topic. However for every 3 "kitten saved by firemen" stories there is one "kitten abused and killed" story. Same with "baby survives fall" and "I lost my child". The things I can filter out are "kitten" "pets" "parenting" "kids". I'd really just like to filter out feature articles where anything dies. Hard news it's expected. I'm on plenty of activist sites and support groups to know about all the bad stuff that happens. I want to see cute stories of animals and…

Get rid of the Liberal bent.
Fair and Balanced. Because Fox News is fair and balanced, considering the dominant media, Fox is perceived as right wing.

Please... do not take me to X-tra clicks to read the news !!!
Just when I decided to write this note I arrived to this page and noticed that other people have already made comments on the issue. I have been a Yahoo news reader for over 15 years. I considered really useless to make me go about a preview page every time I click a heading in the news. I has slowed down considerably the speed in which I can get acquainted with the wonderful news around the world you post everyday. I simply impractical. At the begging I tried to go around the "preview" page by opening the link in a…

STOP WITH THE ADVERTISEMENTS THAT MOVE ACROSS THE PAGE WHILE READING NEWS COMMENTS! You are driving people away.
STOP WITH THE ADVERTISEMENTS THAT MOVE ACROSS THE PAGE WHILE READING NEWS COMMENTS! You are driving people away. I am ready to abandon my Yahoo mail account (I have accounts elsewhere) and never come back. Suggestion: fire the person who implemented that annoying advertising scheme. FYI, I also give the advertisers feedback that their ads are counterproductive and reflect poorly on their brand.

Try being FAIR in politics
Your news is so anti trump that I refuse to read it any more and you just lost ANOTHER person who reads the ads. Its so obvious.

Double clicking to read a story is dumber than the news business
Fire whoever though an extra click is good for what?

Yahoo news is completely one-sided. Look at all the negative Trump articles. This is not journalism, it is disturbing propaganda.
Yahoo News is not Impartial Journalism

Yahoo news
I use to frequent Yahoo for new stories and especially sports stories on free time, but I do not like the knew setup. When you click on an article, it give you the first paragraph and then I have to click on another link for the full story! I don't know why it was changed to this format, but it is really annoying and I now go to MSN for new stories and sports as well.

Get rid of the "read more" button.
Get rid of the "read more" button to read the news article you have already clicked on to read. I am switching to another online news source until Yahoo removes this useless feature.

Allow Yahoo users to block sports
I don't watch any sports, I don't want to watch any sports, I don't care about the waste of money, time and resources that constitutes modern, organized sports. Allow your users to block these articles from their news feed and focus on more worthwhile endeavors of the mind and body.

Make news more relevant to the user (me).
The news at the moment just seems to be celebrity gossip, click-bait and stories that are just plain garbage (rubbish in my country). Could you make a way for users to pick news categories that are relevant to them such as politics, science, technology or art instead of celebrity relationship breakups, hairstyles, tattoos, what they look like now (gasp! even celebrities get old) or what they had for tea last night.

Cut down on HuffPo and WaPo news articles.
At least half of your content seems to come from these sources and they are garbage. HuffPo in particular is a disgusting publication. There is no defense for such a divisive and misleading publication.

Be fair in your reporting and news stories!!
Quit being so biased and report fairly for both Republicans and Democrats. You are blatantly liberal and biased. The term "yellow journalism" comes to mind. What is it about a corrupt female politician named Clinton that is so endearing to you?
