Drop the liar Katie Couric
Apologizing doesn't make it OK to lie. Katie Couric admits she lied about that documentary because she wanted to promote her own agenda. Why does YAHOO still pay a liar money to represent their site?

Loyal User Getting tired
I have been a loyal User of Yahoo! for over 10 years now, but if I keep seeing click bait articles like the on about Chewbacca mom http://www.sheknows.com/living/articles/1123479/chewbacca-mom
I will have to find a new homepage. Articles like this do nothing but stir bad feelings all around and have no place in a "news" section. The writer obviously wants to stir people up with a totally bogus article with no basis in facts. Please clean up your site or I, and I'm sure many others will find someplace else to get their information. -
Start reporting the news!
I find it hard to understand how Yahoo -- a California based company mind you -- can't even post a headline about who won the June 7 primaries. Instead, the headline is about how Clinton as the presumptive nominee, which had been announced on June 6, is looking forward to debating Trump. Yet again, California is marginalized in the whole primary process....and even by Yahoo news. Think it's time to find a new news site for me.

My Comments
What happened to "My Comments"? There used to be a link on the bottom of each story so I could keep track of the comments I had posted. How do I do this now?
-
Make "Sort Comments" consistent
Please use a single format for displaying comments on a news story. Sorting by "Top" or "Recent" is not useful. All comments should have the option to sort by "Popular Now" "Newest" "Oldest" "Most Replied".
I like reading comments in the order they were written and Top/Recent sorting doesn't let me do that.
Also, NO AUTO-START videos.

Go back to the old news format
Go back to the original format for news.
The new format doesn't allow for finding comments previously posted. Get rid of all the non news junk sites such as mashable, and mic and stop putting ads in between the storys. -
What's up with opening a news story now and being given just one paragraph and then a button to be re-directed to the whole story?
Not everyone has high-speed internet. That re-direct button to simply finish reading one story is silly. If space is a problem on your site---make each news story open in a separate window---ONCE--and let us just read the news with jumping thru hoops. The more you "improve your site" the more inconvenient it becomes to use Yahoo. I moving homepages to MSN. Same news--faaaar better way to let us read it.

Refresh
I hate the refresh on your news site. I hate having to scroll through the article I was reading to find where I left off. I hate re-scrolling past articles and ads I wasn't interested in the first time I scrolled past. Please turn that off. Also, it was hard to find this suggestion place. I only endured the frustration of finding this suggestions place because I hate the refresh so much. I am about to find a different news aggregator over this.

Unable to view comments I've posted on news articles
I have noticed that since you have changed the design of your Yahoo homepage, I can no longer view comments I've made on various news stories and viewing of new comments. A notification used to appear at the top right of the screen, next to the mail icon. It's useless to post comments when you can never go back to them and find what others have posted. It's very frustrating.

SAVE YAHOO!
Propaganda is not "news" neither is an editorial or blog. Stick to REAL news, please! Don't make Yahoo a yellow journalism site!

Stop the double preview for news stories
News stories run through Yahoo have become needlessly difficult to actually pull up. Instead of showing me a headline and I click on it to read the story, Yahoo has added an extra step and forced 2 windows to be open for the same article. I don't need a 1 paragraph summary of the article on a separate page before I read the article, I clicked on the dang thing because I wanted to read it, not sure how that wasn't obvious. Remove the unnecessary middle man step.

Yahoo "news" is just pure FILTHY anymore. Insipid, useless Hollywood tidbits, and nothing more. It's embarassing as an Internal Portal any
DIsband Yahoo altogether.
What's the point here anymore ? Just FILTHY PHOTOGRAPHS and pointless articles about the "news", Hollywood style
