How to block unwanted news sites?
I am Mormon. The Salt Lake Tribune likes to publish articles by 'detractors', and it's pretty wearisome to hit an article about your faith only to discover its another non-specific idiot talking about the 'failure' to answer questions that everyone in the faith knows have not just been answered, but answered in great detail. It's like a click bomb. I see that yahoo allows you to 'like' a subject or story in your feed - but it does not allow you to 'dislike' stories in your feed to get the message to the algorithm that the news being selected is…

stop changing home page!
Whatever changes you recently made to your homepage please undo asap! Trying to make it better only made it worse. Never had a problem before now I dont even want to use Yahoo at all. Please change it back!

Top making readers click twice to read a full article. I am switching to another source because of this.

Stop trying to emulate tabloid news and give us substance. Come on Marisa, you are smarter than this.
No wonder Yahoo is sinking further and further every day. Give us value-added information.

make Yahoo a better site
Yahoo could be a go to website if, Yahoo would post stories with differing opinions. Today there are three global warming stories. If you had two or three stories arguing the other side of the issue could Yahoo become a site to find out the broader views of ideas?

My jaw doesn't drop.
Please stop with the description "jaw-dropping". For one thing most of what you call that ridiculous term is not. For another if it were a drinking game, I'd be dead from alcohol poisoning.

Your new home page is garbage
Your new home page is garbage. Why should I click on an article twice to read it? If I click on a news story, it means I want to read it. It doesn't mean I need to think about whether or not I want to read it, and click again.

Advertorial ****
Hi Yahoo! A friend was doing word association with us as a "game" last week and at one point started using brands. He mentioned "Yahoo!" and my response was "Media *********." The Yahoo! News area used to be my start page. It was credible. It was a excellent hub of different providers and a great way to springboard the day and become informed. Now it's a BLSHT CIRCUS with advertorials and "fake" news sites like: Webvert where every link spawns a new browser.
I used to work In a Television station where we had a standards department…

Yahoo, you are not facebook
You Don't have any stories on your site anymore, sick of clicking on something and being directed to another site. It is probably cheaper for your company, not like the news you provide is much above trashy gossip stories and more like entertainment.
Sincerely,
No longer using yahoo. -

I miss the 'old' Yahoo news. I do not care for the new format. Also, too much gossip **** and not enough news.
Bring back the previous version of your news (please)...

Stop the pop up articles that suddenly disappear while you are reading them!
What's with the articles that pop up - with an x to close them - and then suddenly go off the screen when you are trying to read, or respond with a comment. This is very anger producing.

Homepage
I just checked your homepage???!!! Your changes are something that I refuse to try to use (tried once---they all stink)!1 So, I'll just continue to use AOL's homepage until someone at Yahoo comes to their senses and returns the old format for their homepage!!!

Yahoo news
Your misleading headlines and excessive ads make it time consuming and not worth the effort to go to Yahoo. It has been my homepage since around 1998 and I will discontinue that shortly unless something changes.

sparate page for awful stories
instead of the regular news fed, if there are any morbid stories they be put on a separate page, it's so awful to see bad news as you are scrolling through I would rather not read awful stories like dogs being murdered, or kids it's sick
Thankyou -
Why does Yahoo continue to post this article (https://pjmedia.com/blog/bho-whats-in-a-name/)? It is not news or substantive.
Stop posting things as news that are not news. The post on (https://pjmedia.com/blog/bho-whats-in-a-name/) is old, not news, has not basis in facts and is at best borderline racist. Each time I find, which is way to often, makes me want to not return to Yahoo. If it comes up again, I will be forced to not use yahoo any longer.

Mother of slain unarmed teen Michael Brown on Yahoo News Live
Really Yahoo? How about the truth? The officer did not slay Brown, he killed an attacker that went for his gun and charged him. You should be embarrassed to call this a news story! Pathetic!!

Leave well enough alone
I miss the old news scroll feed (horizontal).
But what really confuses me is why whey I click to read a story I have to click again to be redirected to a different internet page. It's like you want me to stop using Yahoo. Just kind of silly and frustrating. #1 way to lose hits is to get visitors going in another direction, as they are less likely to come back!

be fair and balanced... yahoo is way too liberal!!!! me and many others will stop using yahoo if nothing changes...
be fair and balanced... equal view points!!!

go back to the old format, the new format makes you look like TMZ = BAD
The new format not only doesn't bring you back to where you were any more but if I wanted sensationalism and ads with suggested ****** leaders, i would subscribe to to a **** site. Please fire your new AI loader, reemploy the old one and cut the autoloading video feeds down to 0. Put up a teaser and let the paying customer decide on which content to click on so you get paid....
This very frustrated customer is going to remove you from my news "cruise" list until further notice. At least TMZ has interesting commentary.
PS, Why is a…
