4. Fake news/notifications/format/auto-play videos/Advertising/etc.

   Problems - Fake sponsored "news" stories, Auto play videos that crash my web page, Notifications that take you to differant webpage, endless Kanye West "news", countless advertising adds that also contribute to crashing my web page, One sided stories that are clearly favored by your editors, the format makes it hard to find a story I want to actually READ, and last of all..... not reading/responding to peoples complaints about every thing that I just listed.

   I miss the old Yahoo so much - the late 90's early 2000's when this was my most visited site - now, I rarely visit yahoo - but your quick access to news (very simple but efficient layout - same with sports) were so user friendly and oh how I miss the loss of People search .... its so sad that this site was allowed to deteriorate so badly ...

8. Perhaps you could hire a conservative to assist in your news aggregation...

   Most of the stories chosen seem to have a liberal bent, particularly those dealing with global warming, the 2nd amendment, religion and politics.

   I would be more than happy to assist you in choosing stories to help "balance" your ideological tendencies.

10. I give up on your yahoo financial site. The side adds and articles with constant movement are so distracting I cannot concentrate.

    I look to the financial news in the morning before trading to get the futures and global market info, but lately the side ads/article enticements with their movement/jumping around that I cannot stop are so DISTRACTING I cannot concentrate on the important financial info I came to the site for. I need to find another source. GOODBYE!!

11. I switched my home page, because you ruined the comments sections for news stories.

    Yahoo ruined the comments section on news stories, so I'm switching my homepage to another provider. Posting is difficult, and yahoo has taken away the capability to monitor my previous comments..

18. Why is the Washington Post article titled, "An infant's 5-month life points to hunger's spread in Yemen" labeled as "entertainment"?

    This article appears on my home screen news list. The category assigned is Entertainment which appears above the articles title and a photo of the poor emaciated baby that died of starvation. How incredibly insensitive and disrespectful. I don't know how to bring this to Yahoo's attention in a better way. If someone reading this does - please tell them to fix this!
