let me choose the links ( site , newspaper ) that i want to read the news from your homepage.
I am from Greece and i like to read many articles from your home page before i read my mails, but you choose the news from the same sites that are not so good in my country. They are all gossip and they manipulate the politics. Please give us the chance to choose from where we want to read the headllines or to exclude some of this horrible sites that you choose to the Greek hompage. The next solution will be to avoid the Yahoo home page from reading the news and i do not wan that. Thank you.

Do NOT show pictures on the feeds of people being killed!!!
"Trigger warning" sensitivity debates are one thing ... but showing images in the side feed of people being killed is absolutely despicable. I'm specifically referring to a link to a person being killed by an elephant, showing the guy being flipped and mangled in the air. NO, I will not be engaging in such disgusting "shocking" click-bait, and I do NOT want to see that level of graphic content while I'm scrolling through the morning news.
Disgusting. Have some respect and decency for people's lives.

I've had yahoo news for a long time but now when I go to my local news-Palmyra,NY--I get the news from new your city. I try to type in zip code and it won't unless I open my settings. What gives? Never had this problem before

Put the most recent news at the top of the news feed lists & update the headlines daily. I've been seeing the same headlines for over a week now.

my antivirus blocks your sites
some of the news articles on my Yahoo that I click on are blocked by my antivirus AS UNSAFE !!! others are come-ons to a lengthy video 'presentation' to waste my time trying to sell me something. I don't trust Yahoo. Don't know why I bother. Good thing I have a good antivirus........Clean up your act!!....................... My email works ok so I will keep it.

Time exposure reminder for space pictures.
When publishing articles about space where there are glorious pictures of galaxies and particular stars and that kind of stuff, make it a policy to say something like "remember, the photograph you are looking at is made only buy using a timed exposure longer than a simple snapshot. In this case, the time duration was 6.5 minutes (or whatever the amount of exposure time actually was).
