Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.
We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN7057.html

Collin Murray-Boyles (Toronto Raptors) plays both the center and power forward position and should have eligibility for both. He is the primary backup at center and sometimes slides over to the PF. This should be adjusted on Yahoo. Thanks.

Obi Topping should have C designation. He has played 48 percent of his minutes this year at C according to Basketball Reference.

Please add SG eligibility for Kon Knueppel. The stats of the first few games clearly show that he plays a decent chuck of his minutes on the two (42% of minutes so far), see https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/player/5497/positions#tab-team_efficiency.

Please add SF eligibility for Tre Jones. Last season he played nearly 20% of his minutes at SF for the Bulls, see https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/player/4785/positions#tab-team_efficiency.

Can you add SG eligibility for Mikal Bridges? I'm confused why he is listed at SF and PF but not SG. In the playoffs last year, he started at guard with Brunson, while OG Anunoby and Towns were at the forwards and Mitchell Robinson was center. Once Robinson comes back, they will presumably use the same lineup with Bridges at guard. I was very surprised to see him only have forward eligibility.

Per Rotoworld on 10/22
ESPN’s Tim MacMahon reports that Cooper Flagg is likely to start Wednesday’s game against the Spurs at point guard.
Advice: Flagg, who played some point guard during Summer League and the preseason, will reportedly take on those responsibilities Wednesday night.

Hi Yahoo Fantasy team,
I’d like to request that Mikal Bridges be given Shooting Guard (SG) eligibility.
He’s currently playing shooting guard for the New York Knicks and regularly starts at that position. Adding SG eligibility would reflect his real role on the court and help fantasy managers set more accurate lineups.

Alex Sarr should be PF/C!!! He was that last year. He plays all positions! Change him to give him PF eligibility. Thank you!

Anthony Edwards is currently listed as PG, SG. Historically Anthony Edwards has and will play SG, SF. Please remove the PG position from Anthony Edwards.

Zion Williamson has been starting and playing at SF for at least a few games now (since the all-star break)
