stop running fantasy hockey up to the last week of regular season!
can we PLEASE get hockey changed to not go until the last week of the regular season lol. its like doing football until week 18, which they do not do. too many players are sat and "rested" the last week. one league i lost 12 starts the week of finals because of it. theres really no reason for it

End playoffs on last Sunday instead of end of regular season
Perhaps the final week of hockey playoffs has always gone to the end of the regular season, I can't remember. I certainly don't remember trying to juggle my lineups due to so many NHL playoff teams giving their players rest days. Some of my teams had 40%+ of the players being "O" because of rest/load management. We only get 4 adds a week so it's impossible to fill in all the gaps.
The league settings show when playoffs end so my fault for not paying closer attention. Anyhow, just a suggestion. Thanks.Hi Chris,

Playoff schedule need to be brought forward 1-2 weeks
Hello yahoo fantasy team.
I‘m very disappointed because I felt short in this years fantasy hockey final. I‘ve lost 12 games due to resting my players at their respective teams. Not injury…resting. These are 9 games more than my opponent. It’s tough to see my chances for the titel slip away because of resting. The playoffs urgently need to be brought forward 1-2 weeks to avoid this scenario. This cannot be the decision maker for a whole season including all the effort the „managers“ brought into.

Championship Week
Need to consider moving finals up a week in future years. Players resting has had a big impact.

End the playoffs sooner because of so many players resting or not playing the last week. it sucks playing all season and then losing because the players are not playing.

improve wavier for playoffs
wavier add ons only 4 for 11days not good 2 weeks of stanley cup final should have 8 waivers since it extends into week 2. Even worse when teams are resting players for thier playoffs makes for a dull ending to our great league

Last week of Fantasy Hockey is 4 days to long..
The playoffs should of ended yesterday (4/12/26) I have half my roster out today to rest for stanley cup playoffs.
All teams that qualify are resting players more now & will get worse, need to end our season earlier.Hi,

Fantasy Hockey- 2 week championship option in an 8 team playoff
We would like to keep 8 teams that make the playoffs in fantasy hockey, but want the championship and 3rd place matchup to be a two week contest.

Change in Regular Season Schedule
I would like you to consider subtracting one week from the regulkar season schedule and starting the playoffs 1 week earlier since teams seem to be sitting star players in the final week of the season prior to the real Stanley Cup playoffs.
For example , I lost the services of Leon Draisaital, Jack Eichel and a few oithers this season.

Make the Championship Round ending a week before the regular season ends.
I had too many players who were sitting out due to rest during the last week. It almost cost me a championship.

NHL Fantasy playoffs
I know so many people who would love to play NHL playoff fantasy hockey with Yahoo. Now have to play playoff bracket or manager type of fantasy games during playoffs with other websites.. My idea is to just offer all yahoo fantasy users playoff draft where you can draft players first, then compete week to week or just whole playoffs overall point total while playoffs last. This would lock even more users to yahoo fantasy which would profit yahoo.

Fantasy Playoffs Finishng Sooner
Fantasy playoffs NEED to finish a week or two sooner than they are currently. If you look at the sheer number of players that have been listed as "O' this past week due to teams siting/resting players, it really takes the fun out of fantasy finals when 50% of your starshortening the regular season and having the finals finish a week or two sooner for tis reason. Why is the Championship matchup week extended into the final week of the NHL regular season?
Why extend the championship matchup into the last four days of the regular season? Why not keep it at 7 days? You know **** well that NHL teams who already have their playoffs secured are "resting" their stars over the last few days. What are we supposed to do in keeper leagues...drop Makar and Mckinnon because they are being "rested"? The Yahoo Fantasy Hockey season runs through the end of the NHL's regular season. The NHL season does not end on a Sunday, and does not play enough days in the last week to have another fantasy week added. This is why the final week is an extended game week.
Private League commissioners have the ability to choose to end the season prior to the final week if the league does not want to have an extended week as the championship.

Roto Playoffs Format for H2H Leagues
In head to head points leagues, give a “Roto” option where the same number of teams make the playoffs but it switches to Roto format for playoffs only, meaning the top scoring teams will advance each round. For example, in a 12 team league where 8 teams make the playoffs, those same 8 teams will still make the playoffs and set their lineups as usual but with the goal of scoring in the top 4 that week to advance. 22 Week Regular Season with 3 one-week playoff rounds
Why was this option removed from the schedule options? I have been doing this league forever and we've always used it.
The regular season runs from Weeks 1-22 and allows for all 12 teams to play each other two times.
The playoffs then run in Weeks 23, 24, and 25.
There is only an option for a 10 day final ending Thursday April 17th.
Where is this format with an option for a one week final (Same as all weeks) ending on Sunday, April 13th.
PLEASE ADD THIS BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS!!!!

Fantasy weeks are typically one week. At the end of the year, if the NHL season does not end on a Sunday or if there are a few days of games the following week, the week will be a combined week. There is no way to make it so the final week ends on a certain date for head-to-head leagues.

Stop the game before the last week of the season
The last week of the season in the NHL sees many top players "resting", as in NOT PLAYING, so if they aren't playing, I'm not gathering points, no points is not good. If we had unlimited adds and drops like in past years, this wouldn't be an issue except for the can't cut list guys, but that's not the case anymore.
