Trades in the offseason
There was real interest in my keeper league to be able to make trades—players and draft picks—during the off season.
It would open up after the Stanley Cup final, and the commish could close it before he or she processes things and finalizes everything for the draft.

Mock drafts after keepers (and draft order & traded picks) are locked in
It would be fantastic if a person could do instant mock drafts in their keeper leagues after the keepers have been selected for the year.
Now that our keepers are locked in, as is our draft order and the picks we traded from last year, it would be so helpful (and fun!) if we could do mock drafts based on that set up & criteria. It might be tricky, but it would be worth it to develop.

Automatic draft mode for absent players
It would be helpful if players who know they won't be participating in the draft—and intend to let the platform make the picks—could select an option to shorten the time allotted for each pick. The platform could then make the selections quickly to save time.
This way, players who are present wouldn't have to wait for the full time limit for absent players to expire before their own turn.Hey Jim,

Instead of a W-L-T scoring option. Id like it to be a W-L-OTL.
If you lose your matchup but were in the top-half in highest scoring in your league that week you are given an OTL instead of a L. 12-team league: top 6 highest scoring teams eligible.

Will Smith should be W not C
Hello. Yahoo Sport still identifies Will Smith fron the San Jose Sharks as center, while he is definitely a winger to Celebrini and has been all last year. I suggest he should be identified as W. Thanks in advance.

Classic draft layout
Please restore the previous Yahoo Fantasy draft-room layout, or at minimum add it back as a third “Classic” option before the 2026–27 hockey season.
The new draft layouts make it significantly harder to follow a live snake draft. Previously, I could see the recent sequence of picks at a glance and immediately recognize positional runs, which managers had selected which players, and what was happening between my selections. The new interface prominently shows the most recent pick while requiring multiple clicks to get back to the broader draft board/recent-picks information.

This app update has ****** off our entire league of 15 years. We all hate it.

A new "Vampire" Mode
I would love to see Yahoo add a "Vampire League" option for Fantasy Hockey.
A Vampire League uses normal weekly head-to-head matchups, but with an additional consequence: the winner gets to steal a player from the team they defeated. To complete the exchange, the winner sends one player from their own roster back to the losing team.
This gives every weekly matchup lasting importance. Winning does not just improve your record—it can strengthen your roster while weakening a direct opponent. Teams gradually evolve based on their results, rivalries become more meaningful, and even managers outside the playoff race remain involved…

Please make it easier to delete the league
I keep getting emails about my league is going to renew on the 31st. I do not want to continue with the league and I can't find a way not cancel or delete it.
Hi David,
You won't be able to delete your league until it has been renewed. To disable Auto-renew, you must manually renew your league and update Auto-renew settings in Commish Tools.
Before deleting your league, you'll need to reset the draft (if the league has drafted) and unlock your team list (if already finalized).
- From Yahoo Fantasy, mouse over Fantasy Home | select your league.
- Click the Commissioner tab.
- Scroll down and click Delete League.
- Click Delete League to confirm.

Announce the Hockey Season is Open and put in more drafts, especially for Points leagues
I don't know why you don't have a lot more drafts for Points leagues, I'm sure a bunch would fill. This week it's pretty much only Cat leagues and they are much less popular, having both available would be nice. Also send out an email saying the season has opened.

Maximum player selection
Would it be possible to have a maximum number for Players/Goaltenders in custom leagues as there in Baseball Thanks
Thank you for reaching out regarding having a maximum number of players/goaltenders that you can set. If you are looking to set a limit on the number of players a team can have for each position, you can enable this for the draft by following these steps: Commissioner tools >> Draft & Keepers >> Set Draft Positional Limits. This will only apply to the draft, however. It will not apply during the season.

Please for the love of god, add the draft board back to the players tab.
This is functionally awful. It looks great, yes - sincerely great job on that. But, try a few mock drafts yourself and try to keep track of what's going on in the draft. This small functionality change is really really awful. I can expand on why but I think you get my point.

Please return the layout of last year's draft room. The UI has a great aesthetic but is no longer usable.
I need to see who's being drafted in real-time during the draft to be able to make my picks.

Draft room stats
Hey! Before we were able to organize player based on avg fantasy points on previous season. Why that is not removed? Now only total points and projected points. Avg points is very important atleast in NHL fantasy

Outdated
Both of my Fantasy leagues moved over to Fantrax permanently because of your stupid paywall stunt from 2025. I hope Yahoo learns a hard lesson from turning it's back on dedicated users who used the platform for well over a decade. There was absolutely no reason to create a paywall when Yahoo continues to lack features that Fantrax provides.

Show previous season's stats in pre draft ranks
Hi. In the pre-draft rankings, please go back to show a player's stats from the PREVIOUS year. Not only projected for the following year. I prefer hard facts, not a crystal ball. Thank you

What day will the Yahoo 2026-27 Fantasy Hockey season open for business?
