End playoffs on last Sunday instead of end of regular season
Perhaps the final week of hockey playoffs has always gone to the end of the regular season, I can't remember. I certainly don't remember trying to juggle my lineups due to so many NHL playoff teams giving their players rest days. Some of my teams had 40%+ of the players being "O" because of rest/load management. We only get 4 adds a week so it's impossible to fill in all the gaps.
The league settings show when playoffs end so my fault for not paying closer attention. Anyhow, just a suggestion. Thanks.Hi Chris,

Make Max # of Games Adjustable
It would be nice to be able to change max # of games per position type in rotisserie pools.
For us, this would be helpful specifically with the goalie slot in our hockey pools.
We would like to be able to have 2 playable goalie slots for a single night, without having to double the amount of total goalie games played which forces people to draft so many goalies. This allows for the possibility of getting a "guaranteed win" when both your goalies face each other, or playing 2 goalies when both have favourable matchups.e.g Setting for # of…

Playoff schedule need to be brought forward 1-2 weeks
Hello yahoo fantasy team.
I‘m very disappointed because I felt short in this years fantasy hockey final. I‘ve lost 12 games due to resting my players at their respective teams. Not injury…resting. These are 9 games more than my opponent. It’s tough to see my chances for the titel slip away because of resting. The playoffs urgently need to be brought forward 1-2 weeks to avoid this scenario. This cannot be the decision maker for a whole season including all the effort the „managers“ brought into.

End fantasy hockey 1-2 weeks before end of NHL regular season
I'm in a public league and likely going to win, but the last 1.5 weeks have been a huge turnoff due to the large number of players sitting out for rest reasons. I've heard that private leagues can choose to end their seasons earlier, with some even ending them on the trading deadline day but far more ending them a week or so before the end of the NHL regular season. Please make that feature available to public leagues too.

Weekly player adds for fantasy hockey
need to be raised to 6 or more, hockey is a violent sport and too many guys get hurt each week, sometimes it's hard to field a team that's competitive some weeks.

WELL THE +/- STAT IS TOTALLY STUPID AND SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT COMPLETLY

BY WHOEVER SCORESNEVER LIKED THE MAX GAMES PLAYED SINCE IT WAS PUT IN PLACE

End the playoffs sooner because of so many players resting or not playing the last week. it sucks playing all season and then losing because the players are not playing.

Fantasy Hockey: Expand the Injured Reserve roster for each team from 2 to 3. Baseball allows 4 on IR.
The players on the hockey roster is 16 and 2 on injured reserve. Increase to 3. 16:3 ration is (about 19%)
A Fantasy Baseball roster has 23 players and 4 on IR. 23:4 ratio (about 17%)
The ratio of 16 Hockey players to 3 on IR is now close to the ratio of fantasy baseball players on a roster 23 to 4 on IR is about 18%.
There are MANY hockey injuries and I believe the change to 3 players on IR makes sense.

Game Today Column Gone
If a player was playing a game today the game details was in a separate column, so it was easy to see who was playing today! For some reason this information has been moved under the players name and is hard to reference! Please put this information back in a separate column.

Fantasy Hockey - Yahoo Public Prize League Playoffs start/end a week earlier
Currently, Yahoo Public Leagues (both Prize & Free) have their playoffs run for the final 3 weeks of the NHL regular season. Unfortunately this is quite problematic, due to how during the final week of the season, many teams rest their star players once they've clinched playoff spots. This means during the final week of Fantasy playoffs, there's an imbalance due to players being rested/listed as DTD or OUT last minute, and managers often missing 8-10+ games in the week just from this issue. improve wavier for playoffs
wavier add ons only 4 for 11days not good 2 weeks of stanley cup final should have 8 waivers since it extends into week 2. Even worse when teams are resting players for thier playoffs makes for a dull ending to our great league

Last week of Fantasy Hockey is 4 days to long..
The playoffs should of ended yesterday (4/12/26) I have half my roster out today to rest for stanley cup playoffs.
All teams that qualify are resting players more now & will get worse, need to end our season earlier.Hi,

Fantasy Hockey - Season schedule
Suggestion for future Fantasy Hockey seasons: I think most Fantasy Hockey players would like for the season to end 1 or two weeks earlier than what they currently do. (Especially those in $$$ leagues) There is a tendency for real hockey players to take a pre-playoff 'vacation', or rest before the real playoffs start. This really affects Fantasy Hockey teams. Set Lines
how is it that I que a goalie add and the next day three of my skaters are benched even though I've set my lines multiple times this week? In this case it's a very close playoffs matchup and the three skaters have early games on Sunday morning that start before I wake up. WTF

If you've set your lineups in advance, any changes made will be reset when a transaction has been made to add, drop, or trade a player from your team. You will need to redo any changes that you've made to your lineups after the transactions have been processed.

Bring back the Chart View to the Standings Page
Please bring back the Chart View to the Standings page. This was an option that showed a graph of how your team is doing vs the rest of the league. It was a good way to see trends for each category.

Ya you think its fair to put a team that has 10 -15 games more than the other opponent a fair thing?? i have had multiple opponents that have 10-15 more games to play and its not fair?? when i'm against anyone else its never that I have been the dominent one?? this is a joke and unfair??

Assistant GM- overhaul
The Optimize Lineup feature needs a serious overhaul — especially when it comes to goalie decisions.
There should be very basic logic in place here. If one goalie is confirmed to start and another is unconfirmed, the feature should never replace the confirmed starter. If both are confirmed, then sure — optimize based on matchup.
I just had a situation where I rostered two goalies from the same team and one was already confirmed as the starter. Right before puck drop I picked up a skater and quickly hit Optimize Lineup, assuming it would simply adjust my skaters.
