Why change the page.. it was excellent.. now with the ads popping up all over the place.. especially soon as you open it on the top of the page.. I will go back to ninemsn.. it was the best home page before you changed it :(

Well I've done it
After putting up with the pathetic ads across the top of the page and then having to wait for some ad to load every time I look at one of the news or sport articles, I've now changed my home page to google news. What a breath of fresh air. Now I just log onto yahoo to check emails until my contacts get used to going to my gmail account. Yahoo, you only have yourself to blame. I do not like the popup ads
Having ads on true page is understandable but popups are annoying and, in my opinion, it's not good for the advertiser to have people get annoyed with you.

I find that there are adverts that look like stories and just keep popping up
page is crowded and cumbersome to navigate
and I did prefer the older page.

Seriously what do I have to do to have the ad stopped coming up across the homepage!!!!! This is the third time I've complained!!!!!! If I want to look at an ad I will click on it. what to do to get rid of the tasmania ad
If EVERYONE clicks on the ad say 100 times (then tell say a hundred of your mates to go to yahoo and do the same and repeat) then contact the Tasmania tourist bureau or whatever and tells them what you did, do you really think they will want to pay Yahoo per click for more ads?

The new home page is cluttered and messy. The previous page was more user friendly. Also the adds on my inbox are really annoying.
Firstly remove the adds from my inbox, they are the worst thing ever. Then review how the homepage appears, it is just awful as it is.
