The home page is so bloated and slow I don't even bother with it.
My suggestion is about the TV guide (Perth). How about putting the actual channel number against the station name. My remote does not have a "Food Network" button or a "Go!" button to press after the 9. It's bad enough that 9 has changed it's channel numbers recently, but not knowing how to get the station by the channel number is very frustrating. (especially for the elderly)

But the accompanying video shows that 'Darth Vader' had absolutely NOTHING to do with the baby announcement! It was just a lady telling her husband after a photo with Darth Vader! The news opened a new browser with a 9-minutes video which said by registering before this video end will reveal how to get rich quickly. Thought though it is a news in yahoo7 so cannot be scam! Therefore, I registered with basic details such as full name, email address, mobile number and address. Why are there nude shots of peoples breasts and bottoms on the photo strip at the top of the page for children to see and anyone else!
Why are there photos on the main page of Yahoo at the top scroll of women with naked breasts and bottoms for all to see, including Children! This is completely inappropriate and pornographic on what is supposed to be a mainstream, news and family friendly website.
This has not only happened once but many times and is breaching censorship laws!
