Odd News sucks
When I click a link and it comes up with a video from Odd News, I immediately hit the back button. Worst feature ever. I guarantee I'm not the only one. Dump Odd News or at least make it clear before I click the link.

Yahoo is the pits
They keep signing me in, bad enough they've screwed up the homepage. Now they want me signed in all the time. Tonight I'm going to see if I can get my mail forwarded to Gmail, if I can I'll banish Yahoo from my computer

Re
Hi,
Before I critize your redesign of your web (ca.yahoo.com), I am wondering why the change?I wish if you had professional web designers to notice the fault in the new design. Or Beta test before you implement.
The new design forces the user to hover to get information. Prior, the user can make an inform decision on what to select. Hovering forces the user to waste time by hovering each image to get some details. It is not user friendly due to additional work for information.
If I wanted to see a bigger image, I would look at flickr…

hopeless, too much news that you have to scroll down to!
Theres no reason to change the page. There is nothing wrong with the old one and the new one is too bold and has entries that are too long. We need a brief summary to see it its worth reading.
Most of your news isnt to me so, i scan it quickly. You have stopped me doing that so now I wont bother to read any of it!!!919th ranked -

To Yahoo!; Give us back our old Homepage and Set-up as it was. The Blue caption against a Picture background makes it impossible to read.
- You people at Yahoo! don't give a damb about all the negative feedback or you would do something about it. I am leaving for Google.

No-one is impressed, Yahoo Canada - give us back the old HOMEPAGE, please !
With all due respect, why would you think this was an improvement ? It may be for your ADVERTISERS but it certainly isn't for your users. Where did you bury the FACEBOOK connection? Perhaps we should start a BOYCOTT of the ADVERTISERS....anyone up for it?

Mobile-optimized home page is terrible for computer users
I started using yahoo.ca when yahoo.us got optimized for mobile, but this is my last visit to yahoo.ca since it too is now mobile-optimized. I like Yahoo content, but I primarily use this thing called a "computer" which the mobile-optimized format doesn't work so well on. Thanks Yahoo for many wonderful years, but it's time to replace you. Bing isn't as good as your old home page, but it's better than your new one. Good luck!
